Yes its true in the grand scheme of things we are pretty worthless, and it is an interesting thought. In Watchmen, Dr Manhattan is out in space in a different deserted planet with no life at all and says "The existence of life is a highly overrated phenomenon". If earth dissapeared the universe would go on just like normal.

But honestly whether we are important or not, we can still make the best of it. Just because society is based on entertainment (if it even is) doesnt mean your life needs to be. Maybe we are worthless in the grand scheme of things or maybe we're not... and human society may be rotten and disgusting with many bright spots, but you can still decide whether your life shall have meaning or not, whether it is meaning for you, or for the greater good. I mean you only have one life, i'd consider that a privilege, whatever gods or not gods there is, they gave you the opportunity to do as you please.

I never said being someone else's entertainment was a BAD thing. Didn't you see Wreck it Ralph?

life is precious. its freedom, addictions, bliss, a never ending learning experience. this means life doesnt have to mean anything but means everything to the natural order of the multi- verse. a journey of fun and exotic experiences unique to each person. life means the act of living true to yourself and honest actions born from an array of free emotions chosen by each seperte perspective based on how we feel in that exact moment. then we learn from that experience and teach others. the human race is awhole mass of energy with free will. amazing,beutiful and powerful flowing in a stream of life then after life and after that and after that.....
