There was a thread like this way back but I figured why not bring the post world back to life. Ill be posting one riddle per week. Solve them well~

Thirteen men go into a forest looking for apples. They find an apple tree with thirteen apples on it. Each takes one, but after this happens there are still twelve apples on the tree. How?
