Hmmm... Been a whileSit back some time and simply ask yourself, [Link]->"Do you even lift, bro?"<-[Link]
This thread makes me lulz. Assuming only about 5% of the people in this thread have actually researched both parties
Romney is losing financial backing, even Faux News is sitting back thinking 'dude...wtf?' as he dodges issues on taxes, immigration and his views on marijuana. As for everyone talking about how Obama "apologizes" for America.....lol. Sorry, garbage Romney made up http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...e377_blog.html
He cant even make up his mind about his stance on issues http://www.addictinginfo.org/2012/09...ce-healthcare/
Then you have Ryan accusing Obama of actions that were taken place -before- his presidency
There was even an interview with the old workers of the Janesville GM factory who said Obama -never- promised he'd keep the factory open and were upset that Ryan did -nothing- to help these laid off employees, employees from his hometown.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1848928.html
And really, dont even get me started on their views of planned parenthood and birth control

Agreed. My biggest problem with Romney is his flip-flopping on many issues (and his roboticness). I do agree with the Republicans more regarding fiscal policies, but unfortunately the Republican Party has been hijacked by the Teabaggers and far-right Christians. If the Republican Party could become socially as liberal as the Democrats, I'll have no problem with voting for Republican candidates.

I dont know who 2 vote for there both not that good so.
Romney has asserted support of auditing the Fed.
Romney has asserted support for taking a 20 percent tax cut for everyone in the marginal rates. (Spending thereafter will generate a considerable debt, but this debt will directly enable individuals and will be truer to markets than the debt created through stimulus spending which doesn't necessarily follow consumer standards, thus causing big wastes in the people's money. Romney, mind us, supported a form of stimulus spending some years ago; his proposed economic policy today though is based on a fulcrum of tax cuts instead.)
He has said he will not support credit manipulation or credit forgiveness in cases like our sub-prime loans. (Supporting them would distort markets and form bubbles to crash.)
He supports removing the barriers to oil drilling from domestic companies ( youtube.com/watch?v=AcWkN4ngR2Y; also, we drill more than we ever have in crude oil today, but the barriers are great enough to put us against the arbitrary power of OPEC.)
Romney is a strong supporter of combating the Bank of China's currency manipulation, which keeps their labor prices artificially low and hurts both of our markets in the long run of wealth held by the average citizen.
Romney supports Ryan's voucher program for fixing social security costs. With a voucher program, the beneficiary receives a grant worth the same amount of money as would be spent on them normally in social security. The beneficiary may use the grant to receive the government's traditional care, or they may use their voucher in the private sector to choose different care options. With the influx of opportunity for these care options brought on by these new vouchers, cheaper and improved care will be available for all.
On war policy, President Obama appears less likely to involve the military abroad than Romney. The President has broken promises on the duration of wars, but these wouldn't be the first promises or beliefs broken by either of the two major candidates in this election. Romney has accepted that the current war incentives evidently show that our involvement should pass soon, but these assertions have been far from clear by him.
Romney wouldn't return to DADT.
Romney would remove the Dodd-Frank financial reforms, which oblige Congress to constantly build upon regulations in hopes of preventing financial crisis.
Romney said big banks should be allowed to fail. This is huge, because it means he is against insuring big banks' trading. Our financial regulations, if we know anything about lawyers or have learned much from history, will not be absolute in preventing banks from taking risky deals for profit, and the truest reason they won't stop is because they are government-insured. If the big banks fail because of risky business practices, their shareholders lose money as they do too, but only if the government doesn't step in. The myth that people will not be able to withdraw money is so because those banks performing such risky deals, especially when uninsured by the government, will not act in ways that completely destroy themselves. A corollary to this is with having the banks comply with stricter auditing too.
---
Therewith I support Mitt Romney over Barack Obama. Those issues I did not mention are things I either had an oversight with or I do not believe are imminently important.

Obama has-
Cut prescription drug cost for medicare recipients by 50%
Provided $12.2 Billion in new funding for Individuals With Disabilities Education Act
Appointed more openly gay officials than any other president in US history
The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009: a $789 billion economic stimulus plan
Created more private sector jobs in 2010 than during entire Bush years
First president to endorse same-sex marriage equality
Signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, restoring basic protections against pay discrimination for women and other workers
Established Credit Card Bill of Rights, preventing credit card companies from imposing arbitrary rate increases on customers
Health Care Reform Bill, preventing insurance companies from denying insurance because of a pre-existing condition
I could go on. Theres a whole site dedicated to everything hes done called whatthe[xxxx]hasobamadonesofar dot com. Browse through it, the man has done a lot in just 4 years, including creating 4.5 million jobs after 8.8 million were lost in the recession due to Bush. Im looking forward to seeing what he can do in another 4 years over handing the election over to a man who will more than likely pick up where Bush left off.

I support Obama all the way. When I was around 17 (about more than 4 years ago), I had recently turned to Christianity and kept hearing that Obama would be sworn in with the Qu'ran. As we all know by now, he was sworn in by Lincoln's Bible (who was Republican) but I still fell for the lie. Luckily once I became a senior in high school I had a Government class and learned more about politics. Both sides lie, of course, but you see it more on the right. It's when I learned I shouldn't believe all the rumors and instead fact check everything. The only reason I didn't vote that year was because my birthday was in the same week as Election day so I didn't wanna complicate things for me ._. (still 17 at the time).
The way I see it, Clinton left us a surplus and Bush left us a deficit. We've been taxing the rich less for many years now, and the "job creators" aren't really doing their jobs. Lastly, we gave Bush 8 years in office, so I want to give Obama 8 years to help fix the economy. I don't think he'll be able to leave it like Clinton did, but I'm sure we'll be doing much better if not only Obama gets re-elected, but also if we give OUR President a Congress that will work with him and move the country forward. They've been trying to pass laws based on Christian morality and hardly anything on job creation.
Note: Before anyone calls me a "godless Democrat" I'll have you know that I'm Catholic. I don't agree with liberals on many issues but I do agree Obama needs to be re-elected.

Being too lazy to use an apostrophe and knowing the difference between 'their' and 'there' are too different things.Everything I write makes sense, even without the apostrophe. And I really dont appreciate being called 'kiddo' by someone younger, nor do I need a helmet. Im not mentally disabled, and Id really watch that flaming if I were you.
And this is why I hate these threads. Everyone starts slinging insults back and forth like a bunch of children instead of having a discussion. No one can hear another persons opinion without thinking "no wai, this idiot shldnt b talking, cuz Im right and deir wrong lalalalalalalalalallalalaa"

Ok first one to tally this up obama to romney gets a gift because i'm to lazy to do it.
hella
Almost nothing the government does these days is legal. Is the government supposed to put their hands in business? Nope. They're supposed to watch it, not make profit from it. What are they doing though? Making profit from it. Also, for people who are saying "Ohhhh it's illegal for them to use our tax dollarrrrs," why do you think all of those insurance companies got bail outs? They were using tax dollars for vacations, jets, alcohol, etc. They didn't go out of business because the government would lose money. Non-existing money at that. How do you think we got this deficit? http://www.usdebtclock.org/ Also, the government isn't going to put their own self in jail. Lolz.
Obama nor is anyone in government helping us. Obama giving us jobs? HA! All I hear on the news is "This hospital is closing. 2,000 losing jobs." "This place closing. 200 losing jobs." etc. Yeah, I dunno what world you guys are living in. La La Land I guess.
Also, say bye bye to social security. When we're old we won't have it, our children won't have it, their children won't have it, etc. Why? http://www.usdebtclock.org/
Democrats and Republicans are both to blame for the debt. What they have been doing is like going to the store with $20, picking out $5,000 worth of stuff, and then give the chashier an I-O-U. Also, gas prices have been inflated due to them bidding on 1 barrel of gas back and forth until it reaches a price they want. That's like going on top of the Empire State Building, throwing a water melon off, and saying "Hurry! Start saying numbers real quick before it hits the ground!" And they end up reaching $3 million by the time it hits the ground.
