Naruto vs Luffy

If Luffy and Naruto were to randomly fight right now. Who do you think would win? Personally....I think Luffy would lose. Naruto is God Tier.

Luffy, no competition. He can use Gear Second, run around at the speed of sound, and knock the crap out of Naruto Kyuubi-or-not before he'd have a chance to react. The ninetails has claws, but they're useless if it isn't fast enough to hit Luffy - and it isn't. Anything projectiles or blunt-force attacks the Nine-Tails uses can just be deflected with a Gomu Gomu no Fuusen.

Naruto simply because he is powerful with the ninetails. He can also heal quickly, something Luffy can't do.

I keep seeing "Naruto, Naruto, Naruto", but no real explanations as for why. "The Kyuubi is powerful"? Doesn't tell me a whole lot. Sure Naruto is more powerful that Luffy, but that doesn't translate to winning a fight against him.

They would probably end up being total best friend given their personalities are fun loving and care free.
But if it did came to a fight then it depends on which time Naruto Vs which time Luffy are we talking about.

I personally think Luffy still has the upper hand...I cant see how Naruto would match up to Luffy's brute strength. However it does depend on the landscape they're fighting in I think. If you had them both in a closed ring or something, Luffy would win no problem. But in an outdoor scene, who knows. Maybe Naruto will hold up a little longer...

Why stop there? Have all the main characters from both shows square off in a battle to the death -- and no survivors. I don't like either character, or either show.

I dislike One Piece a tiny bit less than Naruto, so I voted Luffy. Who would realistically win anyway. After all, he took a bite of gum gum.
