The Amity Affliction is an Australian post-hardcore band from Gympie, Queensland formed in 2003.

The band's current line-up is Joel Birch (vocals), Ahren Stringer (bass guitar, vocals), Ryan Burt (drums, percussion), Troy Brady (guitar) and Imran Siddiqi (guitar).

They have released two studio albums, Severed Ties released in 2008 and Youngbloods in 2010. They also have a new album, Chasing Ghosts, set for release in September of this year.

I personally love their music, and alongside Parkway Drive, I consider them to be one of the best metal/post-hardcore bands from Australia
