    Default rain & grass

    the pitter-patter of rain,
    will always please,
    ones ears in the evening.

    and

    look at the fields,
    dead grass,
    waving in the wind.

the second one is based more on symbolism, tell me what you think

I love that you began with an onomatopoeia and your use of symbolism is good in the second stanza but I feel like you should elaborate on the dead grass and why it's significant.
