I have a good friend that is clinically depressed, but he's doing well, and we talk all the time on Xbox Live after he moved. Yes, there is distance between us but good friends will not let that get in the way. Don't stress yourself out over it, everything that has been said is valid and please do see a professional regarding any issues may have a councilor, doctor, therapist...but you also keep us apprised of your feelings, and issues.

Even though he moved to alabama when we graduated high school him and I still keep in touch. lol I was on the phone with him like 5 minutes ago ^^ true friends will always have you in their heart and will think about you. I am a true friend to people but they arnt the same back to me. I know this but Its who I am. i cant turn my back on people like that. Im not cold hearted...-clenches chest- It makes me happy that I can help someone else out ^^

Hang in there broski it will get better.I myself only really have 1 friend irl that i really talk to.And he is older than me,Just try to bring your confidence up,and try to talk to more people and i am sure you will have more friend's in no time.I myself actually think people take time away from your life,That time you went out with friend's you could have been studying and learning new stuff,And maybe one day make History,

So true. I think when his dad died, it hit him harder than he was willing to admit. But, I miss having him being around...so we're reduced to playing NHL hockey on Live. Lol

it's actually not that simple, I also had this problem, the problem with me is that I didn't have any similar interests to my friends so I always felt like they were doing their own thing while i was doing my own thing and so i felt like it was irrelevant for me to meet them and stuff.. i think meeting new people is a good thing to do though

If you want to have friends , just be social , its as simple as that. If you dont want to be social , then you wont gave friend. Real simple.

I dont have a lot of friends since i am lazy... Everytime someone asks if i want to hang out i come up with a sloppy excuse so i can stay all day long at home doing nothing. And it feels glorious...

I think you should join a club or extra curricular activity at your school or in town, or maybe volunteer at some place. Then while you are at the place, you can try talking to people and then you'll make some new friends.
