Sorry for doing a double post, but since nobody commented I figured I should post this one sig up.



It's more like a conceptual sig I made, so I'm not really putting too much emphasis on the piece overall.

I put alot of thought into the second sprite selection (piccolo) more so than the first(street fighter character, forgot her name). I realize that it is abit messy, along with my other stuff in general. But if you can help me improve that would be greatly appreciated.

ANY WHO, I like your variety in terms of style. I see vector shapes, smudging, C4Ds, very fun stuff. You seem to have absolutely no problem in terms of color variety or blending, what I really think you should work in is stuff like balance and lighting. Like, your most current tag, has a lot of nice things going on, but places that really draw my attention are the sharpest, like in the center and lower right. Perhaps, experiment with areas of less intense color or blurring areas to make it not so strong overall?

Tried to take that into consideration for this one (I don't usually do depth btw, this was an attempt)


20 or so layers put into this, filters, smudge, gradeints, burn/dodge/sponge tool. All defaults, no resources, just cs5.

Another piccolo sig, another concept:

In this one, I wanted the blue to represent him powering up (super nemekian right?) And the background was, as typical of anyone powering up in DBZ, the debris that is flying behind him in this case.

Did I do a good job of capturing the moment or not? Somehow I'm proud of this work but yet not, feel like I could do some more on it.

If you really must know, all of your works are heavily saturated in a mash of C4D's and every single one of your pieces looks the same so it gets complicated for anyone to say anything about it. You need to change up a bit now... 24+ signatures all look the same... I suggest you find yourself a tutorial for a totally DIFFERENT style and I mean different as in don't even THINK about using a C4D and see what it looks like.

Not digging the blue/orange differences.. Also the renders right arm has some problems with it.. either it was smudged/blurred too much.

Need to work on your typography. The signature is too burned the white light over the burned signature doesn't bring out an appealing light source. The greenish/blue C4D over the red on the right could've been left out..

Much better... This one I actually like.. It's light, you didn't burn the crap out of it.. and you didn't solely rely on C4D's....

NOW.. Your latest one, the rainbow one.. It's actually pretty decent and I like it.. Probably one of your best..

But now that you've done so many signatures that pretty much look exactly the same, I'd really like to see you try something new.. It's one thing being in your comfort zone.. It's another not even remotely stepping out of it at least once..
