So I've checked Kikyo's translit and... it was beyond my limits of acceptability... >^<
well, he just lacked a few lines and... his work reminds me when I was still a beginner... xD

So can the adminたち replace it with the one below:

side note: I don't like to capitalize katakanas since, original japanese terms can also be written the same way, and it's irritating. And gee, why did he have to capitalize the english lines... even a kid who studied english can tell it's english.

I'm not dissing, I'm complaining at other people's mediocre work. If one is truly a fan of an artist, he should make sure he delivers the most correct/complete/close to original information/lyrics, or else others will complain for misinformation--as I did. The side note was just my extra rumbling.

I would even be pleasured if someone attack me for something I've obviously done wrong; I would like to be corrected, like when I made mistakes in translation before. I get lyrics from and came eventually to Anime Lyrics because of it's superior quality. We can't let ourselves fall short of such standard.

Although it's been a long time since the days of Kikyosama clogging up the submission queue, we have agreed in the past that whatever he put up may be subject to replacement without his consent, and I'll invoke the ruling now.

I've extensively covered Kikyosama's failings in the past, and I can't agree more that his work is substandard at places where he hasn't put up his own corrections. But actually, it's your side note that I was commenting on. Lemme share you my experience, a long long time ago:

I was like you back then, I didn't like putting up katakana for words that are not loaned from other languages. But one day I put up a work on Lyrics Discussion (back then I arranged my work with kanji-romaji-translation for each stanza instead of one huge chunk for easy viewing) and somebody (it was the former admin I think) commented that I should be consistent with how I express katakana and capitalise the non-loanwords too. When I retorted, some people also got into the discussion, where they explained that you have loanwords already integrated into Japanese like 'garasu' has its own kanji 硝子 despite sounding foreign and would be read as shousu? shoushi? to the uninitiated. I took heed of this and put up all-caps for katakana ever since. Besides, a katakana-ised Japanese word has some sort of different meaning in the translation (why it is so is beyond the scope of our discussion), so it's easy for a translator to notice this.

As for Kikyo capitalising the English lines, I guess it's how he differentiates English with Japanese. How do you differentiate between the two languages if both are used in the song? For full lines it's easy but for shorter lines it's much more confusing. Like, all of a sudden you read a 'shine' in the romaji and don't know if it's in English or Japanese....

Pointing out mistakes/errors is fine and in fact encouraged,
but we should leave others' stylistic preferences alone.

It's like, spelling "color" as "coler" would be outright wrong,
but spelling it as "colour" would be correct even if it's different from your style~

Well, you'd just listen to the song and you can tell which is which~

Talking about my preference, I find that I won't need to capitalize katakana-ized loan words if I directly translate (ex. ガラス= "glass") them in the English Translation part. But come to think of it, that would only work if you submit both the transliteration and translation at the same time, which made me think that incoming AL contributors should already be proficient not only in the readings, but also the meanings themselves. Also, I never capitalize anything in the romaji part, since the Japanese language really makes no use of capitalization rules; there may be the chibi versions for romaji but they either modify the pronunciation of the preceding character or extending it.

Since you've translated several songs by DECO*27, you should have noticed that he uses 君 when writing in a male point of view and キミ when writing in a female point of view.

Yes, especially in Nisoku Hokou. Using katakana instead of the kanji counterparts may actually mean a lot...
