school, in a club? if thats not an option...online like these forums for instance, maybe get lucky and find a girl nearby and eventually meet her( thats some wishful thinking though). get a job at a place that sells anime stuff, like F.Y.E. i believe it is and maybe someone working there will also share your interests.. thats off the top of my head..dunno what else

Yeah you may want to do a search for local anime/manga groups in your location. I'm sure there has to be a group that meets from time to time. And like aerophobia said, there are more than likely a lot of forums out there just for Otaku to meet and greet and who know? Good luck. Let me know if you find someone.
It's always in the last place you'd think of looking!
no one's really sure about that. sometimes when you look at the most obvious places, you still won't find her..and sometimes when you go to some random place, you'll unexpectedly find her..still, if you really want to look for that someone then i guess you'll have to stick where people with the same interests as yours would go
Love Your enemies
Dude, it's better not to look.
Also, you can watch anime with anyone.
Well, you can join an anime club or even start one yourself.
You can hang out at places that sell anime and manga (but don't be a stalker )
Or you can simply buy an anime t-shirt and wear it to different places. Female anime fans hang out in a bunch of places. Get a conversation started.

Anybody else notice how many dating/love advice threads there's been going on lately? Maybe people are feeling extra lonely around christmas time.
All I can tell you is that you shouldn't force lookin for a girl, or else they'll never come. However if you want a girlfriend who's into the same interests as you... you should look around in your anime cons, anime stores, school clubs and other places that put anime fans together.
Also, don't be afraid to date a girl whom doesn't like anime. Trust me, whether they like anime or not is no big deal.
Try to make friends with people at a convention. But don't rush.

I didn't make a love advice/dating thread, and I'm just lonely all the time lol.
I agree, anime cons would be a good place. That's where all the otakus (male or female) go. I think you'd have a good chance there, as there are so many female anime fans that go to such events.
Well, some people might not find it a big deal, but it would be nice if the girl liked anime as well. I mean, what would happen if you're spending time watching anime (and she doesn't approve?), you go to an anime con (and she refuses to go?), or you try and wear some clothes with an anime you like printed on it (and she'd rather tear her brain stem out than let you wear it?). I think then, she might not be for you XD
Oh, Hi-deeki, imagine... your kind not eating raw fish! ^_^

Hit up an anime convention. Usually they have forums too and some even have chat rooms.
I met my current boyfriend on the anime conventions forum I've been going to for the past 5-6 years and has started working there. At first I was like "eeeeeh" to the situation.. Now I live with him <3
Conventions are pretty safe to meet new people too. Granted you should still take safety precautions but yeah.

sorry to say, but the numbers are against you man.
look at it this way:
for every 100 guys that would love to have a nice anime&videogame nerd type girlfriend......there is only ONE girl like that.
granted these number are just an estimate, but it's the way it always seemed to me. ESPECIALLY when you get older.

Why do these threads exist? Dude, just go out there and socialize. You will meet someone out of the 6.7 billion people (Or whatever) that like anime and are cool to be with. I failed at it, which is why I'm no longer looking for relationships, but you can do it.

Maybe start going out with someone who dousn't like anime or manga, they say opposites attract....
Just an fyi to the people that are responding to this thread and telling this guy to go away and look for another place to find love, if you Google anime dating websites, this site pops up, as well as a Yahoo Answers question where the person recommends AF as a dating website. So that's probably why we get so many dating questions xD

@ReaperIchigoKurosaki :
You should try hanging around Hot Topic more, or another store that sells anime/manga related items. Get a job there. The people that work there probably have the same interests as you, and if you're lucky, there'll be a single female.
You should also try finding another anime dating website, or just another dating site. People find other people there all the time.
Conventions are also really good, too. There are several that you can attend in different parts of the globe throughout the year - so if you're looking for someone that's has certain characteristics, it might be good to travel to different cons.
Anime and manga clubs are hard to find in some places. If you have one near you, you should start attending it. If not, make your own anime/manga club. There are more people that like anime, manga, and cosplay than what you think.
Sometimes just hanging around the manga section in your local Barnes & Noble or library or bookstore is good enough. I'd also suggest hanging around the anime videogames section in your local store, too. If you're lucky, a girl might walk by and be interested in one of the games/books you're looking at. You could start a conversation and maybe get lucky.
That or you could just sit at home and wait for a girl to walk up to your door.
Hope that helps and whatnot~ xD

I have soaked in wat all you guys have said..and yeah sorry probably not a good topic..
and a girl who likes anime would be a bonus not a must all she needs to do is accept that I like anime.
and I will not go looking for some one and rather just wait and see what happens in my life.
doesnt matter what the topic is, this is a friendly place, dont be afraid to ask whatever question you may have or post anything at all. Anyone that tells you otherwise is an idiot... i post many stupid things lol, because i dont give a S**T if someone tells me its a dumb topic, i posted it because i thought it was funny or for whatever other reason...
And you are welcome for the help, i believe everyones here to help if you need someone.

No need to apologizing for seeking helpful advice.Originally Posted by ReaperIchigoKurosaki:2627251
While this is true, @Hayu had a point earlier.
At the end of the day, this isn't an advice site; its an anime forum (hence the name that's plastered everywhere). People can certainly help, but there's a limit to how much people can help, which is why threads that deal with serious issues (such as a recent thread dealing with helping people with mental disorders) are often closed. Seeking advice from random people on the interwebz isn't wise to begin with; even more so here.
This is a social site and its definitely a great way to meet other people. However, people should be careful about any advice given here. Dating is pretty innocuous, which is why we can joke about it all day, but any serious advice should still be taken with a grain of salt.

AF. That could be either a bad or good place to look.
... if you can find one who lives near your area ...
that or school. Probably a better option.
Finding a girl who likes anime is ain't that hard... BUT finding a girlfriend is a whole other story.... but still try these..
Cosplay Events - event like these is where you can easily find and interact with them, You don't necessarily need to join the event ( talk, take pictures with them... but joining the event would be a + if you feel like it )
Manga Shop/Manga Cafe - there are not much girls who come to these place but still you can find some most girls who come in these place are sometime just passing through or buying something..
School/Clubs - common of commons there are lots of clubs nowadays in school which are anime or manga related..
But then again... I'm sure when you find "the" girl you will like her whether she like anime or not.. ( Good Hunting! Cheers!)
