Fairs enough
to this i say one thing "Got 'im"
A dictator that was ruthlessly gunning down his own citizens in the streets. Who believed that his people still loved him regardless of his maltreatment of them. That sponsored many many terrorist acts during his tenure, to include the Pan Am Lockerbie Bombing in the 1980's. Which killed hundreds of people. Yeah, seems like a guy that deserves pity. The skum bag got what he deserved. I'll call that a good dose of KARMA.
So everyon'e got their own interpetations.
Mind you, I truly got no love for Mumar, but I refuse to open up to the devil and not forgive the chap like the bible says we must do. I would rather say no to the demon of revenge and pray for Kadafi's soul. We may not agree with out views but I am only saying what I was taught to believe. Besides, murdering the bloke won't bring the victims back @ all.
Now we can get back to talking 'bout Kadafi. Who can say that someone's likely in the future intent on picking up where Mumar left off?
America and my own UK helped the rebels? It's a conspiriscy.

Dictators shouldn't be forgiven and it's better he was killed by his own people rather than executed by a western power.
Lol.. Some girl is going on a random disliking spree disliking every post in this thread just about xD Lawls.

^ she must really hat peoples opinions
You're like an angel from a picture book...
He did cause a lot of crap really he was no innocent but he did not deserve to be taken out. The people of Libya lived well, all this crap I hear that they had a hard time is pure bull, not so hard to finance some power hungry bastards to usurp the people and pay the media to talk what you want them to. Sad thing is everyone is falling for that crap that the media spreads. They had nothing to do there, those lying wanabe crusaders with a peace banner in their arms. We will see how the Libyians will live in the new democratic system that is soon to be forced upon them. Yes I am sure they will love it as all of us do. Forced to give all of their resources to the power hungry west and work for crappy pays. Heh they say slavery is no more. Well this is modern slavery. The worst thing that came to human minds and is actually worse then dictatorship is democracy.
I wish all the luck to the Libyian people and all of those countries that are under pressure from the west. Their time will come soon and I shall cherish that moment oh so much. Well enough of my ranting.
Cheers all Brew out.
What if someone picks up where Mumar left off? There's way too many people with the lot of that in mind. Worse still, if there's any remaining Kadafi supporters and/or other factions and other allies, they'll say he died a martyr. Like I said, I got no love for Mumar, let along the stuff he and his minions did, but two wrongs never make a right.

No, he's just like every other nazi in the world. Hope it hurt.
I wish for everyone who's a life controlling ego to get the same frelling thing
He probably blames other people for his face like the other nazis.
He is also one less vindictive abuse {word meaning one who engages in sexual acts for financial compensation has been redacted}.

what so we should've just forgiven him, given him the dole and a slap across the wrists? Sometimes we've got to say killing your own people en masse is wrong. and @Eris by calling him a Nazi it provides a catch all hate trigger and gives us a reason to have zero sympathy towards the guy.
Not literally, but when you oppress and kill people what's the difference?
He'd kill your family in front of you and you feel sorry for him?
What's the difference between watching your parents dragged off by Nazi soldiers and watching Gaddafi's soldiers do it?
The thought of even caring a little bit is just shitty. I know for a fact how much he would care about me if he knew me. I have to say I feel nothing because I know I would have gotten 50x. Just imagine if you had a homosexual brother and Gaddafi found out. You going to think he deserves to die then?
I don't feel for gangsters either. They all kill people without any emotion.. He probably didn't care either way too.

@ America dissidents:
Europe, China, India, Oceania, and the rest of the world would probably still be enjoying the presence of axis powers without the United States.
Sift that around in your mind for a little bit.
Quite unlikely. If the US didn't help defeat the Nazis, the Soviets would have eventually have crushed them. The Nazis simply wouldn't have the resources and manpower to resist (especially since a lot of troops would be tied down upholding the European occupation). And with Nazi Germany falling to Soviet control, the communist super-power would span two continents as well as receive a one-sided technological benefit from salvaging German technology, the US would arguably soon have been speaking Russian as well.
Japan could probably remain fascist, as the US would struggle to defeat them without nuclear weapons technology (good luck hiring German scientists without being involved in Europe).

Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
What kind of silly thread is this anyway. I wonder if the OP is a bully themselves and that's why they expect people to feel bad. A fallen brother j/k
People said the same thing about Saddam, but no one really cared when he died. The thing is, most of any warlord's supporters don't support them because they like them, but because every successful dictator builds an organization where it is much better for every participant if the leader doesn't die. The Libyan rebels will never cut Team Gaddafi the sort of deal they already had going.
If one of the earlier assassination attempts on Hitler had succeeded, it's likely 6 million Jews wouldn't have died. But ok, your idealism totally sounds in touch with reality.Like I said, I got no love for Mumar, let along the stuff he and his minions did, but two wrongs never make a right.

*sigh*
Pardon me, but I wasn't giving my "interpretation" of the Bible; I was merely quoting FROM it. You are certainly free to make your opinions about "what the Bible says" about certain things, but there is really no denying the fact that there are some things in it that are contradictory to certain Christian tenets (hell, you just admitted it yourself).
And I wasn't saying that you can't express certain parts of your beliefs, however, at the exact same time, nobody needs to be preached to, which is what you are doing. There is a difference between saying "I don't want to hate Gadhafi because the Bible said I shouldn't" and "WE shouldn't hate because the Bible said WE shouldn't". Your saying things like "WE should" do this or "OUR heavenly father" does that. It stops being about your own beliefs and starts being about converting us to yours (you are preaching).
I respect your religious views; in fact, I think it's rather asinine that people on this forum jump on religious members simply because they mention their beliefs (like I said, it never fails). However, you are not helping the situation. So like I said, tone it down. I'm pretty sure you can still talk about your opinion on how Gadhafi was treated without ranting.
This is my war face.
This is what happens to trolls who mess with me.
@Eris you're forgetting us jolly old Brits who'd drown them with limitless amounts of tea and absolutely fantastic banter.
Gee my posts here just keep getting disliked......perhaps those who dislike them are just doing it for the sake of it
@Eris :
Agreed 100% - and all the better that the United States was there in the first place being the 'bullies' they are.
To pitty another means you think you are (in a) better (position) than the one you pitty.
In this case... yeah I think so.
Though I can't confirm totally since I do not really know his entire lifestory.
