I didn't know it was America or Britain that were the one that shot him?
I thought it was the rebels...
Explain what you mean.

Well, what about those Americans and Brits providing the weapons to kill him?
Still, not every American and not every Brit did that.
Do you think they should have just looked and not doing anything at all?
Besides, there were not only America or Britania that did intervene. It were alot of other countries aswell - do not forget that.

I don't feel bad that he was taken away from power but I would've preferred if he was captured alive. It says that he died during the capture but the conspirator in me feels that they might have killed him after being captured.
Well he was shoot in the head.
I doubt that it was an accident.
If someone is shoot in the head, it's rarely an accident. Especially not when it comes to a former leader such as himself.
[also considering they say he was killed minutes after his arrest = definitely not an accident].

I feel sorry for the Americans et al. They're the ones who have to finance weapons so that all our leaders can live out their power ranger/super hero fantasies.
I don't know what I really feel with this anti-America talk.
At the same time as people hate and complains when America steps in and acts like a "world-police" they often still demands America to take some action. If America would not have done anything - Im sure people would've been angry for that. It's double standard's if you ask mewhen it comes to this topic (Americas to be or not to be "world police").
And Im not even an american!
I read at some internet newspaper that he died by being shoot in the head - but I may be wrong.
Still, people usually doesn't die from a mere injure in the leg.

That makes no sense... You can supply sure. But that doesn't mean that americans/brits killed him.
It's like saying the chinese/japanese are responsible people who die/get injured in car crashes because they supply the cars. Seriously WTH? No american or british citizen killed him. Citizens of his own did plain and simple.
Do you even know who he is or how he treats his people? Or did you look at a news story and saw this death and was like "awhh they killed this leader guy." This man murdered thousands. Don't feel sorry for him.

It's still pretty early and all the news seem to say something different oO
One of the most recent ones say the rebels found him dead in a tunnel due to injuries by NATO airstrikes while trying to flee the town.
Senjougahara Fascination
Wait, he's dead now?
Perhaps we will never really get to know what truly happened, even if the news gets more and more updated?
Talking about this subject kind of make me feel sick, even if he wasn't the best human being in the world all this "celibrating" over his death still.. Oh I don't know... he has also a human, a life, after all, even if he wasn't the most brilliant one in the entire garden.... But still, I guess I also would feel different about all this if I actually would live close to where the revolution was / is. Right now I kind of live on the other side of the world considering Libya so... I don't even know everything that is happening down there now so I guess I can't really say anything either. I just wish that perhaps this will make it all start to calm down there now. No one feels good about living in a unstable country. Im not saying that it should go back to the way it was, I really am not, it just that seeing all those blood covered news updates makes my stomach twist and really makes me feel bad for the people who currently are living in that situation.
Right now I guess I will look up more newspaper and such to find out more about the situation and what really is going on down there.
For once I feel horrible un-updated on whats' going on around me in the world. I am ashamed of that fact, to be honest.
To answer your question; yes it seems like it.
Yes.
Whatever happened to him was his own fault. It was just a matter of time before this would've happened.

I won't feel bad for him, as long as he really is the dictator as he has been portrayed.
What's wrong with eliminating a dictator from the world?

lol hillary clinton in photo.. do not care.. lawls.. and we never went after Gaddafi. His people started protesting then he started killing them and disconnecting them from media.. And america was like "uhhh you shouldn't treat your citizens like such" and offered rebels a hand..
It's not like we just sat at a table and was like "who should we take out next" Not quite how it played out.

Not at all. He destroyed his country and destroyed the spirit of Libya. The rebels were going to get to him one way or another. Though, I would have much rather seen him bought to justice and tried in court.
You're all idiots if you think the rebels acted spontaneously for just cause. Libya was doing just fine until, yes blueangel06661, somebody sat at the table and said "who should we take out next". Haven't you seen enough examples of their modus operandi? Afghanistan, Iraq, Egypt? Same story: some guy gets called "the mean dictator", rebells appear all of a sudden, then countries who have no connection whatsoever with the country in question start flying around, dropping bombs as a "humanitarian act, to restore peace".
Gonna miss Gaddafi, I was hoping to smoke a pipe with the dude in Dubhai someday.
Hey I'm British and I say good riddance, one less conflict to focus on now as I'm sure the new governemnt can begin to stabalise itself and mop up the rest.
All America and us Brits do was assist the rebels
Sort of. The UN very much made this war happen, by first issuing international arrest warrants, and then threatening with military action if he did not step down. If they had wanted to avoid war and bloodshed, they should have made the ultimatum before, preventing him from stepping down peacefully by making the other options death at the hands of protesters or life in prison.
Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Call me a student of history, but he was not a nice person. He ordered the bombings of a disco in Berlin and a passanger airplane with 270 people on board. Would have been nice if he had been tried, but I'm not going to cry any tears over it.
Also, OP, last I knew the fighting in Libya was being done by Libyan rebels with assistance of UN advisers and various countries air assets, so your bias and ignorance of the facts is noted.

I do. We should pray for not only Kadafi's soul, but also for the souls of those that personally murdered him. The Bible DOES say we must forgive our enemies and those rebels made the mistake of playing God and Jesus in ending the life and sending to hell one of God's creations that only our hevenly father can take the life of.
