Making new friends!

I think that according to my tastes, i find that 40% of the people i meet i will become good friends with. More or less. I start off with a default level of respect for everyone, but once i know them enough to make an accurate judgment, i find most people don't especialy apeal to me.

I'm better at making friends in person than I am online. Working with others has built my confidence immensely and half the time I'm usually out having fun and getting drunk, and when you're in a club/pub full of other merry people then it isn't difficult at all to spur a random conversation and make friends. I definitely prefer making new mates in offline than I do online. It's more fun and better for experience.

That goes for relationships too. I would never want to meet the love of my life on the internet. I'm not sure why but I just don't see any romance in it if I'm honest and would much rather bump inti her in a club or whilst I'm working et cetera. Just call me old fashioned.

Nope, i never go out with the intent to meet/befriend new people.
Doesn't mean i can't become friends with people i meet though ^_^.

I love meeting new people. However, the friends i look for are of a very rare kind. I look for frenemies. I don't want friends that mindlessly agree with me on things. I want them to fight me. I say i wanna paint me car blue, and they'll say i'm an idiot crackhead and that i should paint it red. There are only 2 true friends I have in my life. I love to fight and i want people in my life who do the same. the one thing i can't stand more than anything is a follower. I absolutely hate kids that don't have the guts to voice their opinion.

My 2 True friends are leaders. They don't have any actual authority, but dammit people listen when the three of us start talking.

I'm quite open to making friends online , that's one of the reasons I've joined this forum, I'm also quite an outgoing person and I get to get a long with most people. If I have a problem with someone's attitude i'm not shy in telling them, there's just some things that aren't acceptable in my view, here is a list of some of them

Casual Racism (even in a jokey way, just not acceptable to me)
Arrogance
Thinking they are better than everyone else (be it appearance, intelligence)
Showing off
Rudeness

I am a nice person, I just hate seeing other people getting looked down upon and I don't see why some folk think that it's okay to behave that way!

I really only have a couple of good friends (whom I cherish). I'm easy-going and fairly out-going, so I get along with almost everyone. But i'm also a little weird and don't often 'connect' with ppl.

The friends I have online are more than I have in real life, if that tells you anything. People think that I'm just shy, timid and that's why I don't make any friends, when the truth is I am a very anti-social person that enjoys solitude!

My only friends are the three kitties who live alongside me. I can't make any new friends. Starting to think maybe it's not my social anxieties, but a possible personality defect? I don't know, but I am quite lonely with no one to hang out with or confide in. Everyone is too busy for Lindsey I guess. My longtime best friend, and only friend, just stopped texting me back out of the blue. When I see my boyfriend with all his friends laughing and having a good time I feel so empty inside. I can get along with almost anybody but a really good friend (who truly understands you) is hard to find and I could really use one right now.

I'm socially awkward as I lack social skills and the ability to comprehend social interaction, with that I find it very hard to make friends but others may not think the same of me (for whatever reason). I get offended easily and jealous and I take everything too seriously. I'm also a terribly lazy person. I isolate myself from reality and think everybody has no meaning and is nothing. It's hard for me to make new friends as I'm very judgmental, I only accept intelligent people as my real friends and really only accept certain types of people. I develop disbelief quickly as well. I'm horrible at making friends.

Im quite terrible socially , so i have no friends at all in real life. I have some acquaintances , though i don't talk much to them.
I find it easier to make friends online , so i have quite a few, from places so different as Sweden , Romania and Morocco. Once the guy from Sweden came to Portugal on his vacation and it was great.
