I need help understanding this song

Hi can somebody please help to understand meaning of this lyrics of song. The song is called "Bin Laden" and is by rapper called Immortal Technique, now my confusion is in this part of song on chorus it says "Bin Laden didn't blow up the projects". but i don't understand that what was blown up was world trade center buildings, not public housing projects in America, so why this lyrics?

For those that know or heard this song can you explain meaning behind lyrics?

No no no you are still not understand what i mean, what i am asking is why does the chorus say blow up THE PROJECTS, the world trade center were not projects, projects are housing complex in low income neighbourhoods. I know that the main point of song is blaming Bush and so forth, but what i am in need to know is why he says "blow up the projects" - specific that part.

No one actually blew up the projects. They're generally ghetto tenements, built with the intention of helping the poor. They tend to become hellholes, and some people believe that this is deliberate. He's suggesting that it's the government's fault that poor people - often black people - live in such deplorable conditions.

I'm not endorsing that perspective, but that is what I got out of the song when I listened to it. Take Kanye West and "George Bush doesn't care about black people" and multiply by 100, and you'll get Immortal Technique. However, he doesn't limit his ire to only Bush.

thank you. i had thought it might be something like that, but though the song is about 9 11 i didn't get why would have a chorus about the goverments socio-economic policy and poor people living conditions in the middle of such a song about Bin Laden/911.

p.s isn't immortal technique peruvian? but he seems pre-occupied to black peoples issues in America
