Episodes are all mixed up so I'm wondering is it better to watch it in chronological order or not?
Sorry if there's already a thread like this, couldn't find anything.

Wikipedia says that's the order that it originally broadcast in, but not the actual order of the episodes. So you should probably just go with the actual order and not the broadcast order.

The same thing happened to me with UFO Princess Valkyrie. I had to put the first three episodes in the right order for me to understand.

If you haven't read the light novels and you want character development and everything else to make perfect sense, watch the whole series in the 2009 chronological order.

The anime adaption completely covers three novels: The Melancholy, The Boredom and The Sigh, which should be watched in this order.

The Boredom consists of four sub-stories: The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya, Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody, Mystérique Sign and Remote Island Syndrome (two parts), and they should be watched in this order.

The "second season" is not a second season; it just adds stuff to the first season. It consists of one sub-story added to complete The Boredom (Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody) + the whole Sigh arc + the retarded Endless Eight "arc", which is roughly one episode animated 8 times for the lulz. For all its worth, you can skip Endless Eight whenever you feel like.

After The Sigh comes the so-called "Episode 00", which is the movie the SOS Brigade produced in The Sigh. And then there are two sub-stories from other novels that weren't completely covered in the anime, and then the anime-original final episode. They are all from the first season, and they should be watched after the second season.

tl;dr Just follow the 2009 order I linked.

I myself have gotten into the SUZUMIYA series in a big way just recently. so far, i've only recently watched the 1st season.
♥Sweet Darling Mikuru Asahina♥ is what got me into the series in the first place, actually.

i ended up getting the 2007 MegaHouse 27cm doll of her a couple years ago; long before i recently got around to finally picking up the first season set;

- i look forward to picking up the second season and movie ASAP, so i can enjoy more of my ♥Angel♥

I somehow watched it in corect order on the computer so if u want to watch it in corect order i think use a computer to watch it other wise watch it in the order on the tv ( or what ever u are using)
