is it normal to hate your gf/bf's family

Yes, it is completely normal. Especially with me. Her family is pro Army, so we already have a natural hate for each other with me being a, Marine.

I'd say I went along with my ex's family pretty well. In fact we still sort of do. Although I haven't met them in a year or two

My ex's father was passive-aggresive. He would always make awkward remarks about my relationship with my girlfriend. (that could be because she was my childhood friend but that does change the fact that he was annoying).

I had loads of trouble with my ex mom in law. She gave me an extreme hard time.
Why? Because HER mom-in-law gave her a more hard time, she thinks it normal.
That totally threw me off after a year and I struggled one more year to be with him.
Eventually I broke up with him, he was a mom's puppy. He was never on my side.
He kept telling me how bad I looked in front of his parents. I was like..
AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO SUPPORT ME AND LOVE ME? WTH IS THIS?!
