If history repeats itself, and moves in a circular path, then believing that whatever force is turning it is perfect, is all we can do as we move ahead. Pushed along by forces beyond our control, waiting, for the blade to be swung.

Eh? Where? The DC area is always this hot in summer, and it hasn't even hit triple digit yet~ We're thoroughly prepared for the summer heat =D
Back to the main topic, I wonder if global warming and/or climate change is having an effect on the weathers all over the world. But dust storms sound about right for a desert place like Arizona.=x
From what I gather it's supposed to get really hot next year. I could be wrong but I read a few things bout the sun going through rotations every twelve thousand years or so. Though it's just a theory. I'd still save money though so you can crank the AC next year if that's the case. If not, you have plenty of ice-cream money.
dust storms are always blowing down here.
They're at their worst, when we get little rain during the monsoon season (which this year isn't looking to promising..)

Haven't lived in AZ for too long, but with so much dirt those kinds of storms would occur often; not like much in terms of weather goes on here. Just a lot of wind (at least in my area). I've seen a dust storm where the house across mine just isn't visible anymore and a monsoon just a few days ago where I couldn't even see my car in the driveway from my window. Not much damage done on either accounts, but my goodness it's a pretty sight (especially watching them as they come your way)! And I thought Hurricanes were awesome.
My favorite artist saw a dust storm last month when she was in Tempe and took this picture: http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/555...0777458633.jpg
Heat in the South?
News to me.
I was there, it was awesome. Then afterward I drove for 12 hours back to Texas because I had to work in the morning.
I'm not sure where I was exactly in Phoenix, but it seemed to alleviate the stifling heat for a short period of time.
