Mine would be Castle In the Attic by Elizabeth Winthrop. It's catagorized as a children's book, but I like it.

I like the story of A Walk to Remember and The Notebook written by Nicholas Sparks. The story is amazing, romantic and has sense when it comes to realistic events.

Easily Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks. It's not for everyone, but it's utterly amazing. I've read it... must have been 10 + times and am still not bored. The squeals are also good, but not nearly as great as the original.
Wow is this a tough one. It's probably a tie between The Outsiders, The Named, or Eragon.

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first."
-Mark Twain
Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.
The whole Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore, Assasin's Quest by Robin Hobb and Eric by Terry Pratchett. I also liked "Old Icelandic sagas", but I don't remember the author's name.
There're too many to post. But what I remember now is the Shopaholic Series.

Hyperion by Dan Simmons
I have a lot of favorites, but I would have to say Game of Thrones by George R R Martin. Absolutely love the story arc, the gritty, real characters, and the realistic way his characters(and a lot of them) find their downfalls.
I need a new signature and I didn't know what to put, so I decided to throw this in.

I have a book which has a collection of H.G. Wells novels within it. Wells' works along with Jules Verne's formed the basis of modern science fiction. I'm more fantasy/horror oriented, however that collection of works by Wells is a splendid read. I recommend in particular that everyone read The Island of Doctor Moreau.
"The Name of the Wind" and "The Wise Man's Fear" - Patrick Rothfuss
"World War Z" - Max Brooks
"A Game of Thrones" - George R.R. Martin
"The Road" - Cormac McCarthy
"I Am Legend" - Richard Matheson
"Ender's Game" - Orson Scott Card

Yoo Jaesuk. Korea's loveable fool.

"“All he could have; I made him just and right, sufficient to have stood, though free to fall.” - John Milton
Lots of favorites but if I had to pick one maybe Count of Monte Cristo: Alexandre Dumas
