Signature of the Week #43 Theme

Just a quick announcement. Because I was away from my computer this weekend, I am pushing back this SOTW and the corresponding voting thread by an extra day (so June the 5th is the Deadline; a Sunday). I apologize for not taking care of this sooner.


Also, are you guys intentionally asking questions in these threads for a reason? You ask questions, they get answered you dont enter. I dont get that. If you arent even going to enter, dont ask and waste my time!!!















Signature of the Week #43 Theme

Theme: Comic Books

Superman, Captain America, the Justice League… with great power, comes great responsibility. What will you do with your power? Squander it? Or save it?




Entry Rules:

1) Your signature must be at least 380 by 80 pixels, and no larger than 500 by 250 pixels, the files must be saved as a PNG file. If you use animation, the file size of the signature must not exceed 1 MB.
2) Entries are due on the date of Sunday, June 5th, 2011.
3) All entries must have the text ‘AnimeGalleries.net’ on them for.
4) By entering in this contest, you are allowing AnimeGalleries.net the right to use your signature for promotional reasons or otherwise.

1) Serated is not responsible for your entry following the contest’s theme or following any other above rules. If you have ANY questions pertaining to this contest, please PM Serated and your question will be swiftly answered to help.

2) Any comments, concerns, or important questions regarding the SOTW contest, or the weeks’ theme should be posted within this thread.

3) This contest is ANONYMOUS. Any discussions of entering, voting, deadlines, other otherwise will result in your entry and future participation within this contest being revoked.

4) You are allowed only 1 (one) entry for this contest. If you wish to make necessary changes to your entry, you are free to do so. You may NOT enter multiple versions of your entry.

You didnt even enter, so I dont even see the point. Also, regarding the question YES, I would have accepted Avatar the last Airbender, because if you read the theme, I explicitly said this:

And I am sure there will be a number of you who will send me ‘anime inspired’ cartoons, to which I will be very annoyed to receive and accept.

Oh, but here's an idea for you. Why wouldnt you just be a little be more creative and try another Cartoon to give yourself a little challenge? Is that really so hard to do instead of asking that question and not caring about it in the end anyway?

And btw. Is there a reason to be all snappy towards zinister? It was JUST a question and you always are like "are you seriously asking me that" when we ask questions..... Apparently we are serious because we asked you. And it's your job as a moderator to seriously answer them WITHOUT an attitude. No matter how stupid you think they may be. So cut it out.

Zenister has won many of these contests and is a big girl now, she doesnt need any hand holding from me, or you. And I will answer questions especially to new comers, its the people who have been around, won some contests, done some things that just bugs me.

Besides, you should just ENTER, and ask your question in your entry PM and worry about anything else later. Zenister, you, myself, and many other cans do signatures in our sleep, why care what I have to say in this thread? Take a chance, send an entry, DO OR DO NOT, there is no 'try' or 'I forgot to enter.'

New or old commers BOTH have questions. It's completely wrong to treat us who have been around a while like we know how your mind works and that we shouldn't ask you a single question. Do your job and just answer whatever we through at you rather than saying we shouldn't ask you anything. And I dang sure am not not going to make something if I'm not 100% sure of what your picky opinion will be.

Me, answering every little question about every little thing completely undermines the ENTIRE design process of this contest. Why do I need to give you a little yay or nay to every little thing you want? Why dont you make your own choices?

No.. It doesn't.. We ask a question because we just want to know something. It doesn't matter how good we are etc. It doesn't hinder the design process. What hinders it is making something while unsure of if it's correct. Submitting it to you and then having to redo it. I'd rather know the answers to what ever questions I have BEFORE rather than AFTER. That just doesn't make sense.

Don't like respectfully answering questions? Well... Darn why do we need someone to run it anyways. It's like like the not like person is there to answer whatever questions we may have about that theme..

I was just engaging in some light-hearted teasing. There's no need to get so bent out of shape about it.

Oh, and as to why I didn't enter, I went to Key West, Florida for five days and had a blast instead.
