Mitsumete Knight - Mitsumete (A line of the lyrics is giving me a real headache)

Hi everyone,

Having started the Mitsumete Knight lyrics section, I plan to fill it as much as possible (love this sadly obscure, yet great Konami game I discovered during my study trip in Japan, and it has superb songs).

I did a translation of this game's main Ending, "Mitsumete" (= "Gazing"), but I have trouble understanding one of its lines. Kanji lyrics (taken straight and faithfully copied out from my copy of the Mitsumete Knight Vocalize booklet) and translation below, with the problematic line bolded in both:

I feel like this line is a Japanese proverb or something. If so, it completely escapes me.
Any suggestion for this one, or did I get it correctly in the end?

Also, feel free to propose translation suggestions for the rest of the translation, if something bugs you. I'm open to all suggestions.

Your interpretation looks fine to me.
The idea is "silence tells no lie" (a saying which we may or may not agree in real life).

Glad I didn't get it wrong, that was what the idea I thought there was behind that line too, but since the reverse aesop exists too (silence can be a telling of lies), I wasn't really sure. I'll make sure to add a "silence tells no lie" footnote when I'll submit the lyrics, through.
