Besides, even assuming that we do keep Bin Laden's body in one piece, where exactly are we to bury it that Al-Qaida wouldn't go to the ends of the Earth to get? Are we to simply let the location or even the specifics of the body fade into obscurity?

Give it a cement sarcophagus and put it some place monitored. Even if an Al-Qaeda cell resolved to do something and had construction equipment police would still have 15-30min to react.

Welcome to the next stage of getting over a national tragedy, the part where you realize that getting revenge doesn't actually bring back those that died.

It's not something I realized just now. I thought it was pointless since the beginning. One man, even the organizer is just one man. The organization will continue without him. Though Al Quada hasn't been a threat in years. Most we get now is pathetic attempts at terrorism. And most of them now probably aren't connected to them or if they are they're probably acting on their own at this point. There hasn't been any need for alarm for at least the last five years if not longer. But I guess Obama needs a bulletin for next years campaign.
