An extraction on a background, that's all it is.

Okay, um, I want to know your design process here, because you have been posting wallpapers here for quite some time and havent improved at all. Why dont you blend this better? Waht did you choice the background? Why the ugly crap brown color? Why use that extraction with the background? Why is there no sense of depth, lighting, flow, or theme?

is it having a simplistic abstract bg that wrong?

I only dislike the idea of centered chars ... and strange lightning source on the char (compared to bg) ... and that lightning in the bg should be blended more, kinda stands out atm.

i agree, the blended lightning gives yuske alot more focus. most wps have centered characters... so that mean you dont like most wallpapers? just saying....

Most wallpapers have characters offset to the right because most desktops put their icons on the opposite side. I don't really see any blended lighting either. I think the colors could match better, and there could be more in it. Right now Serated pretty much said everything, so all I can suggest is some tutorials.

Yeah the brown is really nasty. I wouldn't want it as my BG. The lightning strike is random...

Also the way you have your render and the tree is creating two separate focal points. My eyes are drawn between the tree and the render where you want it to be on one or the other. A suggestion may be placing the render in front of the tree. It's super unbalanced. And there are no lighter colors in the BG to ease up on the lightness of the guys finger.. It's a giant white blob in the middle of my screen when I look at it in a mess of dark colors.

Okay calm down bro... If you're going to bash Serated you better be GOOD. Honestly your stuff is crap. Serated is a darn good renderer and renders his own things

and I respect him though I don't like what he says sometimes. But I back up with explanations and reasonings for what ever I say and I'm actually somewhat decent and can match him if I tried. You can't right now and you're just whining. We're not arguing with you were telling you whats WRONG with your wallpaper. That's what critiquing is. If you can't handle it you might as well quit and go ride a pony. People are always going to say good AND bad things about your stuff. Unfortunately this one of yours doesn't warrant much good. Especially after how you acted.

Dont get so butthurt because you're not all that great.

So I suggest before talking to one of our good gfx members like that improve your own skills cause they are not great. After that.. THEN you can start boasting.. But right now.. It does nothing for you..

Everyone in this thread knows I ain't the best graphic designer but good enough to tell you that your stuff is garbage. You know what your wallpaper is? I'll say it a bit harsher than Serated. It's just a damned render splashed into horrible, non-attractive background you found off Google...honestly, anyone with Photoshop or even GIMP with no skills can pull that one.

Sorry kid, but suck it up.

Disliking Bluu's and my post shows how mature you are with this. If you can't take any critiques at all, and just praise, you are never going to improve at all and stay at the mediocre level you currently are. Seriously grow up or like they say, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Soo...what does this have to do with nature? o_o Did you even do anything to this? It looks like you just stuck Yuske on a brown background with a random tree in the background. The colors don't even work...Do you ever take anyone's criticism to help your wallpapers? As Serated said, I'm not seeing any improvement with your wallpapers. If you don't want people to criticize your work, don't post it. Try working from a tutorial. Also, are you working with Photoshop or Gimp?
