Pirate or Ninja?

This debate has been going on for years, and it's srs bsns. Which one is better, a pirate or a ninja? If both had to face eachother in a fight, would the pirate(s) or the ninja(s) win? Feel free to debate til you die.

I think it might come down to the environment really... On land I guess the Ninja would win, but on water I suppose the pirate would have the edge. Which is better? I can't decide... >.<

This is a hard question >_> Not to mention I love both...
So, Ninjas a super stealth, but Pirates are crazy specially when drunk, so they would just fire their canons everywhere, and 30% chance they may hit a ninja.
But I suppose a ninja would win if those ninjas are smart enough to dodge the pirate's canon balls.

Pirates are not awesome. It's there parrots that are awesome. If they have a talking birde at their shoulder they can get little of the birds coolness but if they don't have a bird... sorry. But that's just an epic fail.

I only know 2 cool pirates: one of them is Jack Sparrow and the other one is Arthur (England: Hetalia) past.

I voted ninja, although in reality neither would win. After all, look at Saints Row 2. You always find ninja and pirates fighting, and who is that wins? You do cause you wind up killing both the ninja AND the pirates. Yup, and that's where I stand.
