Sometimes a poem is not found. It's created by the reader. Sometimes the rules get broken, and the average structural aspects of a poem are lost in what's been said. Sometimes that matters to those who read it. Sometimes it doesn't..
Dreamers & Achievers.
The plant climbs.
It climbs upwards towards the sun. Towards the stars.
The plant doesn't comprehend what's up there.
The blue, white and black sky. The unknown. The scary place.
Why should it climb?
Isn't it scared?
What about the risks?
The plant.. does not care.
It climbs.
Many people think it's growing. Magical colorful transformations associated with getting older.
The plant.. doesn't think this.
It's reaching out.
It's learning.
With magnificent presence it changes direction and reaches up, and every part of the plant that get's tired becomes a leaf, or a thorn.
They become the steps of a ladder that the plant is creating.
It shows amazing strength, and beautiful indifference.
The plant holds itself up with sheer will power. Sheer commitment to it's cause.
To exploration.
To adventure.
The plant has a right to dream. And they do, constantly.
They reach until they cannot anymore.
But maybe.. just maybe.. reaching the sky wasn't the goal.
Perhaps the plants dream was to leave the ground. To see the sun.
Perhaps the plants have succeeded at both having their heads in the clouds, and their feet on the ground.
Some may call them dreamers.
I call them achievers.
We could learn..
