Dev Team Sign up thread 1

kk, so I'm going to try out a new idea. Initially, I'll keep it pretty simple, and depending on how popular it ends up getting, I'll make things somewhat more elaborate down the road.

Here's how this is going to work, there will be (2) teams for the time being, and for about a week or so, these teams will debate between which game developer is better.

NOTE: this is NOT a regular Vs thread, whereby the objective is to reach a general consensus, but rather this one team trying to show that the Developer their debating for is better than the other Teams side; visa versa.


at the end, I'll decide whom had the best supported argument, and choose a winner team.



Sign Up:

note: this is not the limit as to how many people can sign up, but the proportional amount that will, if more people join, I'll open up more slots, but this is so to keep things fair so the teams aren't lopsided.

You are allowed to participate without signing up, in this case you will be considered as "N" (neutral), and you can advocate for either side. Be aware though, that both wins and losses will not count for or against you should you do this. This status applies whether you decide to post in this thread or not.

When you decide to sign up, Choose (3) developers that you would be comfortable advocating for, and the Team you would prefer to be on. (if you wish to remain Neutral, post only the developers you want; or you may simply choose to just not post). I'll close the sign up thread, and create the regular with one when I feel there is an appropriate amount of people. The teams' developers will be chosen at my digression (based on the aggregated list that everyone has posted)

keep in mind, this isn't you advocating your favorite developer, only that your team is attempting to show how the one your team is supporting is better than the other sides'.

The defense for those supporting will be highlighting the peak, not the trough. So I don't think it's necessary

Ugh, I have absolutely no debate experience at all, so someone should learn me some knowledge. I'm going to probably regret this, but I'll take A, and I'll support Bioware, Insomniac and Ubisoft for my three top picks. I would support Bethesda/Obsidian, but I can't seem to think of a good point to defend "We have made some buggy games."

Like Montreal can't get credit for Rainbow Six as Quebec can't get credit for Assassin' Creed.

@Machine: Just make sure what you're defending. Like, you can't use Arcana Hearts 3 for your defense as they only published the game for consoles, for the netplay. AH3 has no relations with BB or GG whatsoever.

Just don't confuse published games with developed games. Just sayin.

I totally forgot about Capcom, and their gaming love. I've probably played more of their games than most others.
