Even I don't know what my tastes are. You could give me something one day and I'll love it when in the next I'll scoff at it. My current trends go toward rice, fruit, and onions. Go figure.
As a lil kid I was extremely picky. I don't even know how I managed to survive on hamburgers, chicken noodle soup and spigetti Oooo's. Now I'll give anything a try atleast once. Everything from Mexican, to Japanese, to Italian, to Korean, to whatever. I now realize how stupid I was as a kid and what I was missing out on.

I generally choose what I'm going to eat by how expensive it is. I usually like to try many different things though

Depending on my mood- sometimes, i'm picky to the point that I don't eat if I don't like any of the food available. sometimes, as long as they taste great- I'm fine with it.

It's like this: I don't like 2 eat just meat, but I eat hamburgers & steaks (ocasionally)
And I don't like when I see carrots or something else in a plate with soup 4 example, but I love 2 eat only carrots!
That's why my mum is never at ease, while prepairing a meal!!

I'm picky.. I've ordered the same thing from the same menu since before I was 7. It hasn't changed really. I mean sure there are a few tweaks. I don't know I just really like my comfort zone. I'm satisfied with it. Up until a few years ago I didn't eat French fries. fried mozzarella sticks. Jalapeños. But now I eat them :] thats about the only addition though.
It's impossible to get me to try new things unless you're my best friends mom... ;>____> ....or my boyfriend

I'm very picky with my foods, actually. I'm even the same with vegetables. I prefer them steamed over raw because I find raw vegetables very disgusting. I grew up eating the vegetables that are cooked or steam, and seeing them raw makes me real sick to my stomach, let alone with the taste. So if I'll eat a salad, I'll eat it with honey mustard to disguise the leafy taste that disgust me. I'm also pick with certain cheeses, and I strongly dislike ricotta cheese because of texture. This makes me eat less lasagna, but when I do I want my mom to make it because she's easy with the ricotta cheese.
The kind of food I don't like so much at all is Japanese. I can tolerate the soups and rice, but there are probably 75% of the food I don't like because it taste just... bland. Not a lot of flavour and for me has a plastic taste. Sushi is just okay, but its not so great either. I look for flavour and want a good smell in food, making it look pretty won't cover it up all the time with me. >_> As for sweets, I love all sorts of sweets with no problem.
Nah, I'll eat most foods. With the exception of Brussels sprouts and anything fermented.

On a slightly more related note; I can eat just about anything. I prefer pastas, breads, greens, and chicken.

I can't say I'm picky. I don't like custard (though I can eat honey-custard and such) and shelled animals (snails, mussels, clams, etc). And of course, I wouldn't just eat bugs and reptiles. Oh, and a dish from Suriname named pom.
I do pretty much eat everything else though.
As a chef(in-training), I can't be picky. I am actually pretty open with a lot of dishes or food of any kind.
