No, no problem at all. Just no creepy stuff.
Try thinking the guy 26, the girl 17 -that's what I'm up against. X3
EDIT: You know you should post this in your blog instead of here, I can't really see this as a discussion more of a personal matter.

It's not the math that determines whether or not she's good for you. It's her qualities that do.
If the law says it's ok, there's not much of a problem really.
If the law says it's not ok, then it's a really big problem.
The Brighter the Light the Darker the Shadow
Not really. If the 20 year old guy and the 16 year girl is cool with it then there no problems
It's not bad. It's only four years. There are farther age gaps in other relationships.

This is a Sig. It's horribly out of date.
eeeh, like miniPhil said it shouldn't be such a big gap but maybe even more so, +/-3 is always a good one to go on.

Theres a lot of age gaps but if they're fine, they're fine. But on a social point of view, it would probably be kind of strange. And also the law.
For the reasons miniphil listed, 16 is creepy as hell.

Hey look, Japan made a movie about me!
In my opinion, yes.
Hrm... mayhaps. As with most all relationships, it would depend heavily on the two involved. I would say 16 is about the bare minimum age requirement to start getting involved in a potentially serious relationship. Certainly however, as so many others have said, if the guy were being pushy towards "funny stuff", the girl should seriously consider backing out.
Give the relationship itself a couple of months to a year to see how it develops, how close a bond the two of them have, etc. If it continues working and the two of them seem happy enough, I'd say go with it.
My thanks to Xey Oiz for the awesome new set.
"Screw being normal and be awesome instead!"
Yeah, yeah. Right.
I never implied I'd want to have a relationship with a 16-year-old. To the contrary, if anything, I'd want someone older than myself for now. Hell, even 20-year-olds are not mature enough, so 16-year-olds are out of question.
But yeah, screw my stupid post. I didn't think about the implications for some reason.
In another forum, two years ago he had a problem if the girl's dad could press charges on him(being 18) and her daughter being 16 if they had a sexual relationship. It depending on your country or state. He lives(d) in Iowa so he was alright. So pretty much you can legally be with her.
If you mean morally, then probably it is kind of weird.
Well it probably wont matter when she's 20 and he's 24 but for now I think he should wait till its legal. Or at least close to legal.
In Mexico you can be with someone when they're 12 so you guys can go live there (if you survive that is >=D )
Agh.
I'm against it if neither of them can be mature. Though I believe the legal age difference is 3 years, not four.

If they are both mature, then I'm all cool with it - my girlfriend is 20 and we're both mature adults.

But you're 21. Not the same thing.
I have the same exact age gap between me and my bf. I'm 18 he's 23. However I'm not a minor. If I still was social laws would make it creepy as hell.
If you are a minor I think you should just stick to your age group or about 1-2 years over/under age gap. That way if something were to happen it wouldn't be as big of a deal as it would with 5-6 years over/under. But if both of you are over the minor age then it should be good. But it also starts getting creepy when a person is like 20 and their "lover" is in their 50's...

I see nothing wrong with it at all. It's when there is a far larger age difference that could cause some problems. For example: Guy is 25 and girl is 18. :3

You know, my boyfriend is 2 years younger than me. At first I didn't want to date him for that reason, I backed off a bit. However he was quite mature for his age and I act all childish around him at times. Even though we get a long quite well. His parents are okay of us dating and as well as mine, they only want him to treat me well and thats it. In social terms, well, lets say his friends were surprised that he was able to get me knowing what kind of a person he can be. ;P Again, we're both good as a couple and the age gap isn't that bad. Its actually my limit, too. I was someone at least 2-3 years older, 1-2 years younger (depending on maturity, of course).
Honestly, the four years aren't as important as the fact that it's someone who's about to graduate from college is courting a girl who's in her second year of high school. One person is basically an adult and the other probably likes Twilight. The difference in maturity here, at least on average, is very large.
Of course, there are exceptions, but generally? Creepy, legal or not (within the context of society in the USA today).
Personally, i wouldn't do it. It's against my moral code. But people are gonna do whatever the hell they want anyways so why should i even care? You should check your local laws because if "something happens" and she isn't of legal age, you can be charged by the parents for statutory rape, corruption of am minor, sexual assault, carnal knowledge of a minor, etc.(It's the same crime but different places use different names for it.) Depending on where you live(whether if you live in the U.S.A or not), there are different rules/laws and legal ages of consent.
