Yes, Inner child! Even if your a adult or teen on the outside, you still perfer things like anime, kid's cartoon/activities...but sometimes when other people outgrow their childhood ways, and act their age...Have you ever come up to the conclusion where you maybe a bit old for stuff like anime, manga, and other childhood favorites?

I tone down my interest for anime, I mean I watch it but I don't like it so much as of now. I just got tired of it a little for some reason. I don't think its an age factor, its more of the "its not my full interest anymore". I have times that I can be childish as in I like to play around with my friends and family, behaving like a little baby around them such as talking like one (sound wise). I release my inner childishness whenever the time is appropriate.

I was pretty mature for a kid, honestly I think I was more immature when I was a teenager then a kid. Obviously I'm more mature now.
Things I've outgrown, playing "pretend". I have out grown playing Hide and Go Seek, because I'm so big to hide myself in stuff anymore. If I were small, I would still play it. I've out grown playing with and owning dolls, because I play with dolls on the internet. I've out grown owning toys. I've outgrown my hair pigtails in public, but I still love them. I like kid shows, but not toddler/little kids shows, like I love The Misadventures of Flapjack. XD I will never out grow stuffed animals. I have out grown playing on the monkey bars at parks, but not doing all the other stuff which I'll typically do that stuff when it's dark out in the park in the Summer time with friends. I will never grow out of going to theme parks and riding almost every single ride, even at carnivals, I have to ride the rides. XD I have outgrown Pokemon cards, yet I still own my old ones...actually there right across from me, because my sister found them and was looking at them earlier. I will never grow out of eating sweets until my doctor tells me to stop eating them.

I've never once thought that I was too old to like something. I merely take what was epic and awesome at one point in my life and raise it up to the next level.

As for questions like, "Do you act your age?", I always give the same answer. I don't "act my age." I act in accordance with how I feel and what I believe will give me the greatest satisfaction at the time. It's pretty much how I've always done things, and it's served me well enough.

Sometimes I do think like so. But most of the time I miss my childhood days so this is one way of reliving them.

But I don't think anime and manga are for children since most have teen/adult themes.

Depends on what anime/manga you're following. Im 19 years old, i'll turn 20 in 2 months. I would find it kinda childish if i still watched Pokemon and enjoyed it to the fullest, but there is a slight difference between Pokemon and Death Note for example, so NO, I never feel like im to old for anime/manga.

But still... I miss the child-times... when you had no worries at all

Firstly, you do not live your life accoring to what other people say or do. Secondly, If you feel that you wish to release your inner child then do so. Its a "free" world and you do not need to bow to society. Thirdly, your childhood can never be forgotten and those are some of the things that you enjoyed so why not in later life, go back and embrace those interests once again.
Now I do not mean go mad and act like a child.

I'm just a flat out goofball. I love to do impressions and make people laugh. lol Most of all though I still like to unwind and watch some cartoons when I'm not in class. I never really out grow things like "Ed, Edd N Eddy" and if anime is one I always like to record it but sadly I'm usually too busy to watch anything.

That and all though Pro wrestling is extremely fake I still enjoy watching it. The characters make me smile and watching you realize its still a massive athletic talent regardless of it being fake.

People always tell me I'm too serious, and that I'll age really quickly from being so serious, seeing as I haven't even graduated from high school..
I am a pretty serious person (I tell people I'm a realist.. which isn't exactly a lie. ;P) though I have my childish habits. For example, I chew on whatever I'm holding when I'm thinking, generally use my mouth like a third hand a lot (People tell me I don't look childish doing it. >.>), and I sort of enjoy watching child cartoons since it's so nostalgic.

As far as I'm concerned, you like something, you shouldn't feel pressured to stop doing it for a stupid reason like what most of society feels is acceptable for your age. If I want to play videogames, watch kid shows and do whatever else, then that's what happens.
