    Default Dead Space 3

Lets get a Dead Space 3 thread going, it comes out on the 8th and the demo has been out for a while.
Let's start with some good questions just to kindle some conversations.
-What console are you getting it for?
    -Have you played the Demo/Thoughts.
-Did you get the Dev Team Edition? it comes with a bunch of cool stuff in a metal box.

I'm getting it for PS3 mostly because I don't feel like buying gold these days.

The demo was pretty cool I played through it a few times both solo and co-op, the experience is pretty good in either mode and is more towards part 2 as can be expected.
The gun building is pretty nice but It feels like there might not be enough viable options, but the same could be said about any of the games so not a big deal. I'll still be holding onto my trusty plasma cutter/linegun,

I did get the Dev Team Edition, it's pretty sweet came with a marker that's pretty large, maybe about 8 inches tall if not a bit more. It also had a neato artbook and journal in there which gave me some good hope for the game.

    Set made by me
"Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's going to burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm going to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

I always thought you were American? O___o

Anyways, the game is awesome--really good.

Co-Op works out well as well. I had some problems with it before but it didn't turn out to be bad,

Dead Space is fun playing with friends ! Because I'm too scared to play it by myself so having co-op in Dead space 3 is a nice upgrade in my opinion !

Totally agree the Dead Space suit looks like the Big Daddy!

On the scariness rating would anyone compare it to the first or second game? more or less scary? Ive been wanting to play Survival Horror lately and IMO Dead Space 2 was not scary and not hard to survive. Doom 3 was hard to survive Dead Space 2 the character feels pretty powerful and the scary moments are just loud noises or "dead" bodies raising up when you get close.

When I look for scary in a game I dont expect to actually be frightened. I feel most frightened when I feel the situation is dire and Ill be lucky to escape with my life in tact ie having only enough bullets to kill the enemy or not feeling completely in control of the situation.

I would love to play Dead Space but I'm going to wait for the trilogy collection to come out so I can play all three at once, much like Mass Effect.

So, I was behind on gaming.

I played Dead Space 3 and Resident Evil 6 at the same time. Took three days total to complete both.
So, Dead Space 3 was quite the disappointing experience . And that's beyond me being pessimistic all the time.

Upon finding out that I couldn't 100% the game solo, it became depressing when I realized that items I needed to complete the sets were locked out. 'optional" co-op my foot. A useless crouch button , discovering that the strongest weapons in the game are just the upgraded starting equipment. Carbine + Force Gun + Electric Mod = Congratulations you win.
The glitches were annoying enough. Some ranged from annoying like the suicide bomber becoming invincible and getting stuck in a wall ; To *sigh* with the invincible re-generators glitch to everyone's favorite glitch Headless, armless, bodyless issac clark.
Also hated how you couldn't skip cutsequences. Especially the ones that come before instant death climbing sequences or qtes.

All and all, glad I personally didn't buy the game. I despise games that force co-op on you.

RE6 despite actually sporting 2 player splitscreen co-op and 5 player intersections and 6 player versus, never forces it on you.
