OOC: Sorry that I controlled your character for a second there Ranyrou, but I didn't want to change my entire post. If you havew a problem with it, just tell me.
Adrian had stayed silent only because she knew that both sides were correct in their reasoning. That was how these arguments seemed to Adrian. No one was wrong, but no one was right either. She had no right to side with anyone. But once her brother came out with his crossbow, she knew what she had to do. Being the only one Chuck would listen to, she had to do something. Standing there wasn't going to resolve anything.
Determined, she ran and stood in front of her brother with her back facing him.
"Stop this Chuck!" She yelled. To her relief, he slowed to a stop, giving her the chance to walk up to face him.
"Chuck, I'm not trying to say I agree with Aaolla, but I'm not saying I agree with you either. I just know that soldiers, we must protect all the civilians who are in potential danger. That comes with making the decision to fight or not, and that decision can only be made by the individual. That individual must make his or her own judgement, even if it is wrong. But I'm willing to take that risk." She said as she placed a hand on his shoulder. She gave him a reassuring smile before walking over to stand beside Alicia. Her face immediately shifted to that of the warrior she was as she stared down Alistair. "I will fight beside you Alicia." She armed herself with her silver daggers. If this be the day she dies, she would be proud to die alongside her comrades.
-
Hearing Adrian's voice CHuck came to a sliding halt. Looking her dead in the eyes as she spoke. So she too would ally with the enemy. She was a fool but a fool no less needed allies, and her's was CHuck's, and so with that Chuck lowered his head. Rising against to look from Ace, to Kisuke, to Aaolla.
"Forgive me my rash actions."
Chuck lifted his head, and narrowed them at Ace. He still hated him more then anyone here. But the time came up again he would undoubtably kill him. Be it in his sleep or so forth. He would learn to keep out of business that wasn't his own.

OOC: Hey becky. i love ya and all but never take over a character that is someone else's. Wait for the other person to post. Gabriel and Alicia are my characters. If you have to intereact with either of them please wait for me to reply. Thank you!
Alicia finally took into account what was happening around her. Everyone was fighting because of her. This wasn't suppose to happen. Zyanya didn't tell her this was going to happen. She looked from the group to Alistair. She didn't want the group fighting and she didn't want Alistair to fight the group. She flew up higher into the air and banked a sharp right.
She knew Alistair would follow her. She bolted in the sky like lightening away from the group. She didn't want them to follow. She looked behind her to see if he was following her. She knew even f she shook him from her tail that they were so close in fighting he would know where to find her.
SO she focus on trying to shake the group instead of Alistair. Her living armour surrounded her wings except at the joints. That was so she could move them more effectively but that also left space for Alistair to wound her. Her wings were the only way she could reall get away from him.
________________________________________
Once Gabriel got done with seeing to his new soilders her lazied around the libaray. Her liked this room. Well he liked the books on dark magic in this room. This was how he killed the other Kings and Queens. This was how he was able to take poison into his body without getting harmed.
He knew many things since discovering these books from the other Blood King. But he will now be the last and greatest Blood King. And since he had no living sons or daughters that he knew of, he knew he was safe and didn't have to worry about anything. As they were the only ones able to kill him. No one else could.
-
Watching the division of the rebel faction brought a grin to Alistair's face. It was beautiful. They were so hung up in there ego's they didn't catch Alistair returning his blade to his back. Then when ALicia took to the skies Alistair only shook his head, and his emerald eyes began to glow.
"CHuck was it. Tho your intentions were ccorrect, and your right to thk that way you shouldn't voice your opinion when facing the enemy. Even if you want them to kill one another."
With that Alistair jumped into the air. The wind wrapping around his body, allowing him to flying directly behind Alicia. He wouldn't give her a chance to get far so without warning Alistair used a burst of gale foirce winds to rocket himself through the sky. Drawing his blade once again, and coming to slice Alicia's wing straight off.
His blade was known as Samuel, and was made of the very same metal as Alicia's. Tho different as her's was to protect herself his was made to cut through anything. Even itself. This was most likely the only weapon that could injure Alicia.
If it couldn't then at least the force of his swing would send her crashing down to the ground.
-
Her living metal was barely able to protect her from Alistair's swing. Her wing was hanging out but not by much. She pumbleted to the ground. She fell on her wing and gave an agonized scream. She watched Alistair was above her. She smiled alittle.
She didn't want to fight him. She never did. Maybe she could never really be free. She felt her living metal pull her wing back together to her back bone. She felt he muscles and tendons reaching out towards each other. Her wing slowly healed and she knew even though it healed she wasn't going to be able to get away.
Alicia sat up slowly and pressed her back against the tree. She waited for Alistair to come down and find her. She was really pitiful. She couldn't fight anymore. At least nt the way she was in now. Sure she was almost physically fine but she was metally rattled.
She was finally free and now Alistair was here to take her back to Gabriel. She yelled out to him knowing her would hear her. "Alistair!! You don't have to obey him!! You can break free! You can have your own thoughts. You could have friends!! No you DO have friends!! I'm your friend Alistair. Please don't take me back...." she said softly the last line. She was preety sure he didn't hear her.
Tears slid down her face slowly. She was sad because Zyanya was dead. She was sad she couldn't be free longer. SHe was sad because Alistair did't want to break free. She was sad to fight him. She was sad because the world with a Blood King is a lifelee world and she felt the world dying.
-
Aaolla stood silently, listening to everyone as they spoke.
When Chuck apologized, she merely nodded.
She had been watching Alicia and Alistair out of the corner of her eye.
Alicia was far too close to him for comfort.
When the two took off, Aaolla sighed and followed.
Aaolla was fast. Far faster then Alicia would have thought.
She watched as Alicia flew, soon knocked down by Alistair.
Aaolla landed nearby, behind a large tree.
She kept her back on the tree, listening as Alicia begged Alistair.
Alicia was part of her responsibility now.
If Alistair attacked, Aaolla would be there to stop him.
-
Anisa merely watched as the boy ignored her and walked off with his apple. Impudent little- before she could finished her thought, a drunkard came stumbling in with a sword. Feigning a scream, she dropped down onto the ground and was about to unsheathe her ax when a strange boy came out from nowhere and cut the guy down. What the hell?! He took my kill! She thought, fuming as she looked up at the person who was talking to his sword (though she had no room to talk).
Standing up, she reverted back to her normal self and glared at him. "I would thank you if I wasn't going to kill him myself." She sneered.
-
OOC: First post = waay too short. Lengthening it.
Karo turned and smirked at the woman.
Apparently, it wasn't a little girl he had saved but the Daemon he had been watching earlier.
"If you wanted him, you shouldn't have been pretending to be a little girl." He said, contempt.
His eyes still glowed as he stared into the woman's teal eyes.
He was born with teal eyes like hers, but over time his had turned red. No one was sure how, but they glowed when he went to kill someone.
"But hey, if you really want to fight, I'll fight."
He said, even though he was already sheathing his sword.
"Of course, I'm pretty busy right now. I've got a Blood King's head to take off."
He wasn't usually one to talk so much, but was feeling pretty happy after his third kill for the day.
-
Landing a few feet from Alicia Alistair stared blanking into her eyes. They were sad. She was sad. Yet, he felt nothing at all. It sickened him beyond belief. Not for her, she shamed herself the once bloodthrity demon was now a little girl. She had no use to the Kind anymore.
Stepping up now six or so feet from Alicia Alistair paid the other no mind.
"Look at yourself Alicia. Where is the killer the Emperor always wanted., and that you always have been. In this state you are worthless to the Emperor. Shame on you. You've grown weak.
KNowing the Emperor wouldn't like this Alistair turned, and began walking away. Looking back from the corner of his eye as he walked.
"Enjoy your freedom. But don't let me find you again."
With that Alistair faded into thin air. Leaving no trace of his being behind.
-
Aaolla listened quietly. She wasn't usually one for eavesdropping,
but it was all she could do at the moment.
Though Alistair's words were cruel and seemed emotionless,
she couldn't help but smile a bit when he left.
He hadn't attacked her. He hadn't killed her.
Alistair could have if he wished. He chose not to. Aaolla believed that this small gesture would be a mistake for the king.
Finally, she stepped out from behind the tree.
She spoke softly, as to not scare Alicia.
". . . Alicia . . . are you okay?"
To Aaolla's surprise, Alicia was healing herself.
Physically, it seemed she'd be okay.
But mentally . . . a lot had happened to the girl.
She wouldn't be surprised if Alicia broke down right there.
-
Nathan took quick note of the two approaching guards. It seems that he didn't have no choice but to attack swiftly to maintain the element of suprise. He quickly drawed his sword and charged the guards with speed. He dashed at the two guards and quickly swung his sword swiftly as he went through the guards. After a few seconds, the guards dropped as Nathan stood back up. Blood was dripping from the sword of the two dead guards as he shook the blood off of his sword and holistered it. He looked back at the girl and wolf and then pointed to the two dead guards and to the darkest corners of the tunnel to hide the bodies. He wondered how his friends would react to his swift attack he just pulled off.
-
OOC: Sorry for such a short post. Got to leave for school.
Yuphenia nodded and dragged the two bodies to hide them. She then looked from the bodies to the guy as they kept moving through the tunnel.
-
OOC: Oh, okay Liz, sorry bout that. I'll do that from now on.
It only took Kyoko a matter of mintues to get settled as seeing the room was a bit small, but cozy enough. As she took of her armor, she thought about how much more closer she was to finding the killer.
I hope I find them soon.
She placed her armor agains the wall before sitting on the cot.
For an emperor, Gabriel sure doesn't care what kind of conditions his soldiers sleep in.
She thought to herself with a glare.
It won't matter though, soon he will be dead.
Kyoko laid down on her back, and closed her eyes. She was asleep in minutes, but her brain was on full alert.
-
OOC: Alright if Noel, if you don't have time to write an actually paragraph or two please just don't reply because 2 sentences is waaaaay too short. I'm sorry to be hard but i'm trying to keep the story going and i also want a good story line. Not a 2 sentence paragraph. Thank you.
ALicia watched Alistair leave. She knew thanking him wouldn't slove anything or help with anything. Alicia curled up into a ball as if to sheild her heart from the world. Today had been hard on her. The sun was setting and the light glinted off her tears.
She wanted to go home but she didn't know where home is. Shew never knew love and care. Zyanya was the first one to show her love and care and she wanted to beg for more, but Zyanya wasn't with her anymore. Zyanya was dead.
Alicia cried until she heard the girl with the black wings approach. Gathering herself back up, she sat up and nodded silently then spoke. "Yes I'm fine. My wing is healed. This one reason why Emperor Gabriel wants me. It is because I can heal anypart of me but I mostly never get hurt. Alistair is the only one able to hurt me or kill me." she said everything softly having no energy left to speak properly.
-
Aaolla nodded, knowing that she wasn't really fine.
"I see . . . Ah, how rude of me.
Even through all this, I have yet to introduce myself.
My name is Aaolla."
She bowed slightly and held out her hand to help Alicia up.
"Would you like to go back and rest a bit?"
She asked gently,
"It certainly can't be comfortable out here."
The wind blew her hair forward into her face, her wing feathers ruffled by the strong gust.
Aaolla hadn't even noticed her wings were still shown, not really caring anymore.
She would have to use them a lot, now.
The future was still unknown, but she knew that it wouldn't be easy.
There was a long path ahead, for both her and Alicia.
-
Alicia nodded and stood up slowly. She made her injured or use to be injured wing go up and down and winced as the musles were new and they were still weak. It was going to hinder her flight but she could back it back to camp.
Alicia smiled a little for Aaolla's sake. "Thank you for trusting me. It's nice to meet you Aaolla." she said. "Yes we should probably get back. It will be dark by the night we get back to camp.
SHe lifted herself off the ground and flew at a steady pace towards camp. Her armour of metal slowly receded now that Alistair was ok. She paused in flying to look around herself. She could feel the planet dying now that Zyanya was gone. It didn't matter if they killed the Blood King or not.
Unless they could find another who could feed the planet then all the races were doomed. SHe tried not to think on that fact or that Alistair tried to kill her, so she flew on towards the camp site.
She landed in the feild outside the tent but didn't go anywhere not sure if she was welcomed or not. She stayed where she was in the shadows. SHe was good at blending into the shadows. Her metal made it even easier as to follow the pattern the the wind made the leaves of the trees or the brush move.
-
Nathan and his friends continued their approach toward Gabriel via tunnels. It seems that they were getting close to the end of the tunnel as he saw light ahead. According to Nathan's plans it should lead directly into the castle, at least inside of it. They were getting close, it was almost time. As Nathan got to the door, he began to hear noises on the other side. Guards perhaps? Maybe. He looked through a peek hole and noticed that there were guards patroling the palace halls as well. This place is well defend as expected from his plans. He quietly unlocked the door and waited for the guards to pass by. He then opened the door slightly to see if there were anymore of them approaching. None. Then he opened the door a little bit more and popped his head out to see the other side. None either. He opened the door all the way and looked around for a bit more before he gave his friends the hand sign to move to a dark area so that he can lock the door so that nobody would notice.
-
Adrian placed her daggers back into their sheathes. Alistair was gone for now. Who knew when he'd come back to kill Alicia along with the rest of them. It was obvious they would probably see him again once their rebellion progressed. Adrian wasn't looking forward to it of course but she was not going to run and hide.
Sighing, she walked over to the packs of bread she had dropped while trying to calm Chuck down and picked them up. As she gathered them in her arms, she felt a slight gust of wind. Looking up, she saw that Alicia had landed and was hiding herself in the shadows. Smiling to herself, she waved her to come over and join them in the tent. "We'll be heading out soon! You don't want to be left behind do you?" she called to both Alicia and Aaolla, wherever the latter was.
Anisa almost laughed at the boy's comment. Almost. "You want to kill the Blood King. And what can a lone little boy do, huh? I'm sure you're no greater than the others who have tried for his life and failed miserably." She crossed her arm in front of her chest and smirked. "Cocky little bastards like you will die within a second of walking through the gates."
-
Yuphenia noddd. Her and Xaldin went into a dark area. She awaited for the next order. She had never been in the castle before. Heck, she'd be lucky to be anywhere that wasn't outdoors. The castle was actually very elegant. The ceiling, the floors, everything. It was fit for royalty. She played with the ring some more, remembering the war she was in, and the Ælf that sshe was in love with. He had giving her that ring. A tear escaped her eye but she quickly wiped it away. She couldn't be like this right now, she needed to be serious. She looked at the guy again. He kind of reminded her of the Ælf. She tried to forget about him.
Xaldin looked Yuphenia. What was she thinking about? He wondered.
-
As hard as she tried, Kyoko just couldn't get to sleep. She always had a sense about things, and right now she had this weird feeling that something was going to happen, weather it be good or bad. She got out of bed, and headed towards the door. She opened it and saw guards patroling the halls.
"Exuse me?" she said and got the attention of one of them.
"What is it?" the guard asked.
"Is it okay if I walk around the palace. I would like to get familiar with the place, and since I'm not tired, I'd figure I'd ask.
"Fine, but atleast take your katana with you, you never know what might happen," the guard told her.
She nodded. She grabed her katana and straped it to her side. She opened the door and steped out into the hall.
"Be careful. There are some rooms in this palace that the Blood King doesn't like anyone going into. Think before you enter a room," the guard said.
She only nodded before she stared down the hallway, heading back to the main entrance.
-
Aaolla stayed behind for a minute, staring at the sky where Alicia took off.
She could feel it. The world was dying.
The connection she had always felt with Xeon,
even after his death was almost nonexistent.
She called out his name softly going to stroke her wing out of habit.
He was still there, and the longer she thought about him, the greater his presence was.
And yet, she still felt the loss of Zyanna.
"What are we going to do, Xeon?" She whispered to the sky.
For once, she received a reply.
A small gust of wind lifted her hair,
touching her neck just as Xeon used to do.
It was his way of calming her down.
But right now . . . even that couldn't help her.
She wiped away a tear that had come to her eye,
and took off.
Within seconds she landed beside Alicia,
only hearing the last part of Adrian's call.
"Yes," she said softly, "it is best we prepare . . ."
The battle was yet to come. What had happened thus far was only leading up to it.

Karo smiled widely at the woman. Yet again, he was being underestimated. "Heh. If that is what you believe, then you stick to that theory, woman. But I know my limitations, however high or low they may be. Soon, you will know part of my true strength." He gripped his sheathed sword in his hand, filled with much happiness. Karo loved when he was underestimated. "Know this. I am not as weak as those 'cocky little bastards' you speak of. They are nothing more than blood on my sword, until it soaks it up. And though not recorded in any history in this world, I have killed those who wished to be and were 'on top of the world.'"
He walked forward, past her before stopping. He knew not to turn his back to her when she was facing it.
"I never aimed my sword towards Zyanna because she was fit to be ruler of this world.
But now that she is dead, I will kill the Blood King. For his cowardly ways and for destroying the weak."
Karo paused slightly, thinking before saying,
"Do not take me for soft hearted. I do not protect the weak, nor do I care for anyone's life except my own.
Killing the weak will only cause trouble in the future. For humans, it destroys those who would normally fight for them.
As one, they are weak but together they can conquer lands. Without his notice, the Blood King is becoming weaker.
He has already lost his precious toy and killed half his subjects. If someone is to rise up against him, those in distant lands will not fight for him.
The fear he inspires in each of them will be drowned out by the thought of hope. They will fight against the king, bringing his downfall.
And I will be there, to kill the man who believed he was the best."
He wasn't one to usually speak so much, but this was merely knowledge that anyone could attain through thinking.
It didn't matter to him that she knew this, because ultimately it wouldn't matter. Even if he was wrong, and even if the king's power could frighten people,
the fact that he was absent from their land was a downfall to him. With fear, he must also show compassion to his people. Even if the compassion was falsified.
To be an effective leader, he needed the help from his people. Even if he had a couple human weapons, he still could not stay where he was for long.
Of course, even this didn't matter. Karo would kill him, no matter how long it took.

OOC: Just noticed how loong that was.
Sorry everyone.

Nathan locked the door and quicky went into the dark area with his friends, to be sure that all the guards weren't around. After a few seconds of waiting, he decided that to move toward Gabriel's bedroom first, to see if he was there. If he was, then the assasination can take place and it will be all over. If not, then Gabriel had to be at the throne room, with his two body guards. If Nathan and his friends get spotted, then the job will become much harder or near impossible. He and his frineds had to make this quick, quiet, and perfect. There was no room for error. He gave out the hand sign to follow him as he and his friends began their approach toward Gabriel.
-
Kyoko continued down the hallway, her hand on the hilt of her katana. Her senses were on full alert as she went down a back hallway. She had been walking around for maybe 10 mintues, and already she was getting a sense of the palace. The hallways were a bit of a maze, but they were easy to naviagte. She was at what seemed to be a middle level, and towards the back of the palace. She went deeper into the palace, and the area she was at there were not as many guards, at least she hadn't seen many. As she contined down the hallway, her feeling of that something wasn't right was getting stronger. She felt as if she was going to enounter something that wouldn't be good.

During his stroll towards the castle Alistair couldn't help the flashback from his early confrontation with Alicia. Speaking of freedom, and asking him if he two longed for it. No. Alistair had accepted his fate long ago. Many years ago when he took his first lives.
A family of four. Three women, and a young boy. Alistair still remembers the color of his eyes. Gold. They held such hatred for him that Alistair was almost frozen in time. Unable to escape the boy's glare. It felt like he was staring a hole straight through his soul.
After that Alistair only continued what he was meant to. Not thinking about himself, but about what he could do to get closer, and closer to his death. That is when he could forgive himself for everything he's done. Till then he was a puppet.
Now back at the castle Alistair kneeled before the King. Speaking in that same dry monotone.
"My Lord. Alicia has gained allies in mast numbers. I was pushed back after a long, fight. She wishs to be free. and now seems to want to kill you. And we have intruders. Three or so rats heading straight for us. What would you have me do."
Chuck replaced both blade to his back. turning and taking a stroll into the forest. Not really wanting to be close to the war machine. If he had his way then she would be dead by now. But everyone was all RA RA RA about bringing in a super weapon that could kill them all in a matter of seconds. And now with her here they had worse problems. Alistair. But for some reason Chuck felt like he had meant that man before.
It was many years ago. Chuck was still young. Still fresh to the world, and a idiot. he moved without thinking, and said what he felt not caring about what could happen in return. One like a fool Chuck spoke of killing the Emperor. Not knowing a spy had been watching his family for sometime.
Later tha night when he, and his older sister returned home from the market they found blood sprayed in every direction inside the house. Slashs against furniture, and everything. It was obvious. A battle had taken place in their house.
Rushing up the stairs to his mothers room Chuck beat his sister in a faction of a second. Almost knocking the door down when busting through.
"Mother....NO....NOOOOOO!!!!"
Laying on the floor in a pool of her own blood laid his mother, and younger sister. Newborn. Only days old. Standing above them with a blood covered blade stood a man with glowing emerald eyes. Chuck couldn't tell what he really looked like because of the mask across his face, and that he moved gracefully swift. Before he knew it his older sister was laying down behind him. He was now standing in a pool of all there blood. The man having disappeared with no tracks left behind.
-
Yuphenia followed him as they walked. She had this weird feeling all of a sudden. She couldn't tell what that feeling was. Xaldin felt that same feeling. They both looked at each other, then back ahead of them. What is that I'm feeling? It's weird... She just ignored it, but not Xaldin. He had felt this feeling before, but where? Then he realized it. It was fear. He was afraid and he knew uphenia was too, but he didn't let that stop him, and he knows that it definately won't stop her. They both ignored their fear and kept walking.
