Q: How many hours of sleep do you get?
It ranges, probably anywhere from 6 to 8 hours.
2-3 hours and then a few days where I sleep a good 6-8 hours.
I also have a hard time falling asleep and find my sleep cycle to run into the early am.
Or I catch up with naps ^^;
Tonight, not enough. I've been away for a week, haven't checked my e-mail, and I have a lot of regular mail. I've been going through that, and right now should be going to bed rather than typing this.
I go to sleep at a rock star hour of 11 PM/12 AM, and then wake up at 10 AM/1-2 hours later. Rest of the day I sieze the day, working my a** off. Pretty much.
6 if i am lucky. 10 on weekends
Depends on the day and if I've got a new anime dvd
I try to sleep at least 7 hours a day, but it doesn't always work out. I have problems with the cervical spine and therefore I suffer from a headache that wakes me up at night. A couple of weeks ago I bought a new Milemont Memory Foam pillow. The pillow is expensive, but it is very comfortable to sleep on and maintains a healthy curve of the neck. Sleep has become better, I will continue to observe.
Imagine sleeping
indeed. so many hours gone into sleeping
My dreams seem very real even when I'm other people and I'm usually fighting monsters... and winning
Every wake up in the middle of a dream, and in your semi-conscious state the dream keeps going while you are awake? That has happened to me a few times. I wake up and the dream continues just for a second. It's weird. And then I usually forget what I was dreaming about.
Red Bull at night doesn't affect sleep. That myth has just been debunked.
From six hours to eight. If I am worried about something, less. But luckily that is not quite often.
I'd say 6 hours if I've got work and 7-8 if I haven't. I usually go to bed between 12pm-1am
I tell myself that I get 6 hours on work nights, but the truth is it takes me a while to fall asleep. So it's more like 5 to 5 1/2 hours. On weekends, I take naps during the day to catch up if I have nothing planned.
Not enough. I'm a night owl, so I choose to leave myself sleep deprived. I aim for at least 5 hours, but it never amounts to that. For morning work shifts, I know I'm not getting any sleep, so I chug an energy drink or the rare coffee. If my day off permits me, I will sleep in till who knows when and be the laziest mofo ever.
Does the one hour I spend each morning trying to get out of bed count as sleep? :lol2:
it's only weird if you believe dreams happen inside your own head.
See the truth is that we live in a world born of primal chaos and our conscious minds can't handle the reality so we impose things like linear time and space on our perceptions because our minds cannot conceive of a one dimensional universe in which everything everywhere in time, space, parallel realities, and so forth happens at the same time in the same place in a space much much smaller than an atom.
however we still need to connect with the actual reality subconsciously at least otherwise our self imposed madness gets to be too much, so while we're asleep we connect with those parts of reality we intentionally dismiss while awake which do not necessarily correspond with what we think of as reality and the laws of physics.
if you don't for example and go too long without sleep your subconscious bleeds into your conscious mind and you go slowly insane and then die in a few short days.
Which does not mean that dreams and reality are mutually exclusive. You can't even be sure the person next to you perceives OCLOR the same way you do and their version of reality could be hugely different than yours. You could see them as a pile of living macaroni and eyeballs and they might think you're made of what they see as stars, but since you both agree for example that you are people you'll neve know for sure. it's sort of like trying to Explain a Magic Eye poster to someone born with one eye.
