Overall you have given yourself a good starting point as a graphics artist.

However your biggest flaws are your typography, placement and not as much but still a problem is the basic blending. All of these can be fixed with experience and probably a good few tutorials.

When i talk about placement I talk about your focal in some of these pieces just being placed on one side of the tag, (Gears of War tag best illustrates this) leaving a wide gap needing to be filled and that's where you seem to have just slapped on some text to cover this up.

Everyone does this at first to begin with so don't be disheartened. With tags like your Hitsugaya tag and the last one, you seem to have it spot on for basic tag making.

So overall what I suggest is just hit up some tutorials on placement and typography and practice, you should see some improvements in your work.

With the typography, does something like this work out? I found a tutorial I really like and trying to practice this style. The positioning I'm still trying to work out. Anyways update:

The latest looks really good. Anyway, it's a little too dark for my taste and you obviously use lots of c4d's. Maybe you could try experimenting and use different styles. Tat's right. With practice and tuts, you can be really really good. I always practice and try lots of tuts but I just don't have the instinct in doing it. I love GFXing but it doesn't really like me. :) Anyway, you have that instinct that I'm saying. All you have to do is practice. Post some more of your works.

The inherent problem when starting this style is that one side is always going to just be plain, why i personally have an objection to this style. However the effects used for blending in your focal seem sound because of the subtlety.

But the typography again bothers me. it looks good but the placement seems all wrong. As I have said before try having your text coming off the focal with some layers above and below it.

There's potential here so don't give up!

Since I don't understand a thing about this things, I look at them and write what i think. I liked the one with Gokudera, cause I love that manga

Okay I'm struggling a bit to understand what you're saying with the text as in having layers above and below as well as it coming off the focal. So I am sorry if this text is fail.

A quick word of advice on text since its been mentioned:
If the use of text isn't going to add anything to your signature, then don't add the text.
A fair amount of people feel obligated to put text on every tag, but tyopgraphy shouldn't be an after-thought you throw on an otherwise completed tag. That being said, you won't get any better if you don't practice.

Seeing as you already have some signatures without text, I probably sound like a rambling idiot, but I wanted chime in xD

For your most recent, I's say sharpening those brushes after you put them on will make them look better, also try using gradients and patterns on them, they'll look better :] I still love the Tyki one xD

Indeed the text needs work to boring for me seen it all before although some are good like the Cloud one and the Toshiro but its turning out better the Dragon Ball one of kid Goku is good.. Anyways just an opinion. All of its your style so I'm not gonna in barge on it. Just throwing some pointers out.

Hey for tutorials you can look them up on deviant art under the resources section. That's where I usually find them.

Diggin the first one, the flow is on point except for in the top right and bottom left corner, but everything around the focal is damn good. I like the use of colors except the orange is a little unfitting, maybe because of the blurriness but it's just as bright, it doesn't seem right. Still I think the coordination of the signature makes up for the subtleties, and overall it's damn appealing to the eye.

The second one is more noticeable with weird little kinks in it that don't quite make the signature pop as much as it could. The background composition is a great idea, I like the idea of the left side being dark and having it's details as well as the right being the bright alternative. Regardless if that was done on purpose or not, it looks great. The noticeable things in the foreground are what takes away from something you started so well at. I like where you started at the bottom of the render with the green, that is solid placement to compliment the render. Even on the right of her, where the red is, it has perfect flow with the render so it's appealing. The text is really unnoticeable in comparison with the rest of what is going on, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It fits in well with the signature, so I actually quite like it. The C4D or part of the render or whatever it is erupting from her shoulder is what takes away from it. It's going into it's own direction and the color mixture of light and dark with no regards to the lighting just makes it seem random almost. If you would have substituted it for a darker C4D, or even some bubble c4d's would have made it complete. The render is also a little blurry in comparison with the background, being sharper then the focal. Give the background a slight blur, and sharpen the render with the C4D's (except for the one in the background) and you would have some solid depth to an already great tag.

All in all, I like the work a lot, but I'd like to see you work on some things. I hope I didn't come off as harsh, I just like to throw out some kind of help if I can. Keep it up, I look forward to more of your work.

No this is great! I'm really rusty and need some pointers on exactly what I'm struggling on. Other people have mentioned similar that you've mentioned here, it only affirms that I need to work on those again. Thanks for the CnC!
