Switchblades, and other awesome weaponz!

You know the stuff, switchblades, balisongs (butterfly knives), and gravity knives. Ok I've seen plenty of these in movies but never in real life. It would be so cool to have one for real, but they are illegal in real life in most states in the US. Fortunately they are not illegal where I live (WA state) for mere possession (but carrying them in public is a different matter). So I thought I might order some, but trying to find a place that actually sells them is a bit tough because of the legal issues for manufacturers and distributors. Then I found this one place http://www.benchmade.com/ that sells them online. Unfortunately, while they sell most knives anywhere, the cool knives like the ones I'm looking for they only sell to Oregon residents (where it apparently is legal), and also to the US military. It seems they overlooked that it's perfectly legal to own/posses such knives in Washington State. So, using their online contact form, I sent them this message notifying them of the legal status of such knives in Washington state:

Yeah my friend has a cool knife he got in singapore thats sort of like a switchblade but the knife shoots out of one of the ends when you press a button rather than curls up. you could put it in someones back and press the button and it stabs them with no effort at all. Uh I used to be really into making weapons when I was younger, I made stone axes and bamboo bows and arrows and things. But nowadays I'm more in to making musical instruments lol.

Your joking about finding them right? And I believe in most places balisongs are legal to own. Just not carry. I believe most stats do make it illegal to own a switchblade. Which I personally find dumb since there's faster manual locks that are faster open. As for gravity knives I get the impression they're prone to breaking given there construction. And looking forward to the first. Though I'm betting you'll just make a fool of yourself more then usual.

And? So you think a quick open blade is uber awezomes? Why not get a fixed blade then? It's already opened, just unsheathe it. :D Please dude, I collect knives, bayonets, and swords as well as use them frequently. I've got spring loaded and open assist knives. Sog, Benchmade, Kershaw, Winchester, Leatherman, Case XX and more. Switchblades are useless to me, thus I don't even bother owning one. Rather have a Arkansas Toothpick or a Corvo.

Anyway, I will play along. I have a big military knife at home. I'm sure it says Glock on the handle, I do realize it is a gun, but I'm sure that is what is says. Can't never seem to remember correctly, or maybe it is right? :o
I found it on the side of the road one day while walking home with a friend. I believe in my country I can own many kinds of different weapons, but ofcourse walking around with them in public is prohibited. Weapons is not really my hobby anyway :p
