Re: What do you belive happens after you have died?
I'm not also sure but i have many guesses .We will be judge by God that we will be going to heaven, purgatory or in hell.
And maybe we will be reincarnated or rebirth. Maybe we will be reborn into another world. Maybe maybe we will become who we should be. And many more all i can say is that we will know it when we die so we just need to live then dont be afraid of dying because God is in with us.

Is there any (or some) of them that you belive in more then the others?

My family/friends are sad, and then i'm buried.
Probably not that quickly though.
Re: What do you belive happens after you have died?
What happens after I die? Not important, to me atleast. However, what is important is how I live since it is the only thing I have some control over ^_^
"To be immortal one must live a life worth remembering"

I think why there is always a reason to believe because we are limited mortal beings. There are certain things we can't understand at the moment or situations that would be otherwise too unbearable without faith/belief. So I think belief is what compensates for our own shortcomings until we are able to overcome them in due time.

But yes, the Valkyries brought the dead fighters to Valhalla. ;D Only warriors who had died in battle could get to that place.
Talking about valkyries and valhalla I was and looked at a old runestone not too long ago (just some minutes away from my home).

I was raised in a Christian household, and was always taught to believe in Heaven and Hell. But, I also believe in reincarnation. I think that when you die and go to Heaven or whatever it's called, you have the chance to choose to be reincarnated or to stay where you are. Personally, I'll just stay because I honestly don't want to go through the nightmare that is called life ever again!

What shortcomings? I believe, because my faith isn't strong enough not too. I don't understand why wanting to be an example of how faith can work, brings out so much anger or finger pointing. It breaks my heart, reading so many choosing to believe in nothing....is it wrong to care?

-sigh- I never said I didn't believe in anything and neither was I pointing fingers at anyone and neither was I angry at anyone. What you choose to believe or not to believe is no one's business but your own. And yes we do have shortcomings after all we are not perfect beings...as humans we feel anger, jealousy, make mistakes and sometimes hurt other people etc. I personally believe one of the reasons why we are here on Earth is to learn and overcome these shortcomings. Just because my faith isn't the same as yours doesn't mean I don't believe in anything...to me there are many paths to reach the same goal.

So no need to "sigh"...it wasn't about you as much as Im sure you'd have liked it to be, just a reply to your post...jeez...
Actually I just re-read your first response and I totally misread it! I apologize for it :/ and I understand what you were trying to say.

I apologize for snapping, I'm just flustered that everyone (general proclamation) seems to think I'm talking about them, directly. I know things can be taken as conjecture, but my replies aren't meant as attacks. I understand your point of view as well, I just wish more people had an open mind about this topic.
