Man Sues All of Manhattan for All Of The Money

Another entry in the WTF files:

In what has already been described as the most frivolous lawsuit of all time, 62 year old Anton Purisima is suing pretty much everybody in Manhattan that he can think of. In a hand-written complaint, he is suing for several things, such as pain and suffering, discrimination, privacy violations, and attempted murder. While some of the reasons aren't clear, apparently his middle finger was bitten by a dog while he was on the bus and a "Chinese couple" (who he is also suing) took photos of the incident without his consent while he was at the hospital. He is also suing LaGuardia airport for overcharging him on his coffee. For reasons unknown he is also suing a Kmart, NYC Transit, two hospitals, and Au Bon Pain.

How much is he suing for, you ask? He is asking for TWO UNDECILLION DOLLARS!!

For the uninitiated, two undecillion is a two with 36 zeros behind it and looks like this:

This is more money than what exists in the entire world. Purisima says that "the pain and damages he suffered can't be measured in money and are, therefore, 'priceless.'":rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yeah, saw that. Made for a great laugh. Pretty sure every judge ever would throw this out. Except possibly the one who accepted the affluenza defense.

Psh, that amount is ridiculous. He could easily land a couple googol.

Wow, I would love to see this go through the court system...

I guess he woke up one day and decided it is time that he sues Manhattan.

oh, the things he could do with that money...

he could buy the moon, blow it up and build another out of diamond. pretty.

he could purchase the shroud of turin and use it as a bath towel, as it should be.

he could pay off judges to get immunity from prosecution for crimes against humanity. then come the atomic bombs.

And to think a lawyer somewhere out there.. Has to get out of bed in the mornings knowing they work for this guy..

And then........ He sues the lawyer, then the judge, then the supreme court, then the president!

I wonder what his lawyer thought when he took up the case? And why did he took it in the first place? :o Publicity?

@SuXrys My guess, he figured he'd get paid either way. Not like it'll be one he'll have to put much effort in. The judge will surely throw it out.

@SuXrys Hell, I'd take the case. Guarenteed paycheck. He loses, I get paid. He wins, I get a comission out of the two undecillion, which would probably be a couple billion.

When I first heard of this story I was so completely annoyed at how stupid and arrogant humanity was getting. Now I wonder if he thoroughly thought this out and read every state and federal procedure knowing what loopholes he could use when the judge throws out the case. It's obviously a ridiculously obscene amount for mostly ridiculously obscene reasons; and this man knows it. He could very well be trying to bring down the entire American judicial system by exposing its well hidden flaws. If not, well then I go back to my original statement of humanity sucking.
