There is a very similar thread to this one already: http://www.animeforum.com/showthread...-Best-vacation
Anyways, my favourite and most memorable travels were the ones I did to foreign countries (all one week):
2007 - Italy;
2008 - Hungary, Austria, Chech Republic and Slovaquia;
2011 - Madrid;
2010 - Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and Luxemburg.
Not sure these count, but they are my most memorable places I have been to, when i arrived.
First time I sailed into Dunoon, Scotland, on the sub I was on, there was a fine mist over the loch, and a gentleman was on the islet near the lighthouse playing us in with bagpipes. That was my first time to Scotland, was very memorable.
Second was bring the sub into Trondheim, Norway, and just sailing thru the fjord, was just gorgeous.
My trip to the grand canyon in Arizona.
The first time i went to Dubai.
new york for the first 3 years ago.
Last year, when I went on a road trip.
Best fun I've had in awhile, we visited several landmarks in different states, had a scary mishap where we thought we were going to be killed by mountain dwellers, and just generally had a fun time. :)
Oh, and I also attended my first concert on this trip.
I'm going on another vacation soon, so I'm sure I'll have some more tales to tell.
I'd say my first trip to Osaka 2 years ago and my first trip to Orlando last winter.
New York for a week, Dec 2006. Great times!
Went to North Carolina once... Fell in a freezing river during late Fall... Not a trip I'll likely forget.
I've never been outside of Missouri, so I dunno. Maybe that time we went to Branson when I was a kid, but I can barely remember it.
Sacramento to San Luis Obispo. Attended Grizzly youth acadamy, it was awsome and i loved it. Best experience of my life. :)
Going to Pittsburgh, Millersburg, and Gap, Pennsylvania. Was awesome because:
1. Hung out with some awesome friends
2. Having lived in south central Texas most of my life, being that far up north was a bit of culture shock, I was amazed by all the trees and hills, especially on the Penna Turnpike, LOVED that ride.
3. Went on this trip by myself, against my mother's wishes. Being 18 years old at the time, I finally felt like my life was lived on my own terms.
Hm..Mine would have to be going to Key West. Did some deep sea fishing, bought some wicked clothing, seen some crazy stuff.
Then to Disney World.
I also liked Myrtle Beach, they have such nice boardwalk.
i just landed in germany again. maybe this time i'll remember more of it
Hm.. There are quite a few for me, actually.
First I thought of would be Washington D.C. in summer of 2004. I love history and everything, and my family and I got to go to all of the museums. It was very fascinating.
Second would be Southern California in summer of 2005. It was my first time visiting an beach since I was really young. I haven't visited a beach since then, either. lol. I just really enjoyed how different it was there. All of the mountains, those tall palm trees, etc. My family's into camping though, and we ended up camping on the beach. It was so sandy! D: But at least I got to visit a beach, right?
I also have to mention Indianapolis in 2006 for marching band. It was less the whole traveling aspect of it and more the marching band part of it, though.
Suppose I can't forget all of my Branson trips when I was a kid. We haven't been since 2007, yet we used to go every single year. I think mainly for me it's that it all reminds me of my grandpa now, who is no longer with us. =(
That's a hard one... xP
Probably either my trip to Washington DC or Dordogne in France.
Washington DC was amazing just due to the amount there was to do there and the fact that it was a school trip, so I was able to share that time with my friends :)
I went to Dordogne when I was 8ish and I enjoy thinking back to it as it was the last holiday I spent with my whole family, so it is nostalgic...also, it was very pretty!

I also love history and art, so I guess I would love going to D.C, can't really wait to leave Europe and visit US and Japan :D
