Good collab. Love the contrast of the dark/light feel you did.
Hey, nice work! I really love how you decided to do something different as opposed to your usual dark and gloomy. It looks great, this coming from an expert on bubbly, bright, cuteness. Just like Seung-Li, I dig that retro feel to the sig. You should experiment some more.
That dude looks like he's trippin on Acid. Looks pretty damn cool. this is all smudging, right?
Nice tags m8.
Your smudge work is wicked hot.
I CAN'T EVEN

I love post #62 one! <3 I'm always envious of people doing such great lighting ;_;
Ape, you really have the interesting signatures. Have you tried hybrid tags? You've really nailed down the best of C4Ds and Smudging, have you given though to trying out merging an abstract shape thing with the wild nature of smudge? I think that might be fun for you to toy with.
Haven't made anything in awhile, just beat Borderlands 2 for the 10th time or so. So, I made something.
I think this is my first B&W lololol

Not bad for a first time. The text is excellent, and well placed, but its really distracting. I think overall the tag needs more contrast. Like, if the text were removed, the overall tone of the tag would be a mellow gray color. Try tinkering with like the Curves or Levels Adjustment layers and see what results you get. But its a good tag.
I remember you back when I was active on this forum. Even Midnight Rider complimented your stuff. I would have to say that your works are close enough to be considered a MasterWorks Family type. Anyway I digress. Let's go on with your most recent tag shall we?
For your first time working with a black and white tag, I'd have to say that it's not bad. As Serated has indicated above, the typography is a little distracting but I feel that it's somewhat part of the composition. So I don't feel as though it's a hindrance to the overall composition. The only suggestion I have is to do some more contrast. Right now, it's not really a black and white composition but rather a black and gray composition. I'm not too sure what version of Photoshop you are using, but there are several methods you can use in order to create this contrast. What I would focus on is to get some of the grays (particularly the subject's face and the lights behind him) to become closer to white.
Good stuff as always, Ape.
So sad, I lost all my PSDs when mediafire blocked my account. Waaaaaah.
I have PSDs too, we all got PSD's in here
