I kind am a foodie and I love Japanese food! What is neat is that every Westernized Japanese restaurant has their own special roll. Which ones do you like and whats in it? I like one called the "Spider Roll" because of the small crab. :tongue:

Have you heard of the Philadelphia roll? It is salmon, avocado -- AND CREAM CHEESE? What does Philly have to do with cream cheese? Or Japan for that matter?
I have recently discovered two things that I shall forever regret not knowing or being aware of sooner.
1.) One of our local Japanese restaurants has 1/2 off sushi Sundays
2. They yummy Roll.
Spicy tuna roll-Nori, rice, tuna, mayo, and chili sauce. yum yum
Chili sauce? Is that Japanese? Why put it on sushi?Quote:

Sushi being 1/2 off kinda bothers me. Sounds like you're buying discount sushi from a 7/11. In that case, my favorite roll would be Charmin.Quote:

I never thought about what my favorite sushi roll is. Really any sushi I've tried, I've liked. I suppose anything with a little heat is good. White fin tuna tastes really good, too. As long as I got wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce with me I'm a happy camper.
Although anything heavy in seaweed I have a hard time enjoying. I just can't train myself to tolerate that taste.
