Oh that fair looks fantastic!
Do they regularly happen in Florida?
I ask because I may be going there for university next year.

It's in my last 5 choices, so there's a 15-20% chance that's the one I'll pick.
Oh, well that still sounds rather fantastic!
A yearly fair is still more common than having none at all, like around here.
Great shots! You're lucky the weather was with you.
Because that mostly helps to boost the 'joy' in the photos even more.
Also, the photos are really advertising.
Because I seriously feel like I want to go there now, haha.
:tongue: :) :: hi po
I went to the state fair there once.
Please resize to max 1024 px in width and/or height.
Looks quite good.
Hey, I know those things!
I didn't get to go to the fair :( Looks like there was much fun to be had this year!
All of the photos look so awesome I need to get out of the house and take a few of my own. :3

What camera are you shooting this on @Rainbow Crash ?
I can dig it. How long you been shooting so far?
Very little.. I guess since '11-'12. I like taking pictures of things that aren't real and are quite dynamic. AKA Fairs & Disney. I don't know there's just something about being in that particular moment. Was sad because night photography with fair lights is hard for me.. I wanted to be there before sun down so I could get sunset pics and instead we got there AT sundown so I had to struggle with nighttime photography. Do you have any tips for this kind of thing? (that doesn't include a rig or anything)
mmmmmm well I guess the cheapest route for night photography is to make a fake tri pod. There is no way to hand held that and get a crisp shot. What i am assuming is that you want to be able to get enough of the sunset light and to get the light blur of the carnival rides? If so, I would find a place that can get that shot and if there are any high rocks or really anything that has a vantage point where you can place your camera and set it to bulb mode or TV mode you can def get the shot that way. But honestly, tripods can cost 20 bucks and it opens up a whole new world.
I have one, I'm just missing a piece to it.. I think I can probably just buy a new one, doubt I'm going to find a replacement.
http://www.clickinmoms.com/blog/wp-c...amaTripod5.jpg <---- the part I lost.
Oh those are super cheap to replace. Just go to a good camera store or amazon and presto.
Ah thanks I never actually looked for one I just assumed it would be tricky to replace since the tripod is so old. I guess not!
At the fair I kept trying to balance it on the metal fence of the ride. Attendants would yell at me to back away. I kind of wanted to be snarky and say "I get paid more than you to do the same thing. So shove it. I know being on this side of the fence is safe which is why I'm here. If it wasn't the fence wouldn't be this close and I see half of you do things that are not up to safety expectations." But you know... I'm cool <.<;
