Which genre do you like the best?

The poll is based on the forum's sections. Don't vote "Not stated above" just because you want "A little of everything". Vote for which theme/genre you like watching the most, or from which genre your current favorite anime belongs to.

Comedy! Why isn't comedy up there?! It's the best genre!

Wouldn't "Apocolyptic/Mecha" and "Space" be the same thing?

Also: wouldn't Romance/Magical Girl qualify as one giant Genre of Shoujo?

Romance for me though, most certainly.

I love Magical Girl shows, though most of my collection is Apocalyptic/Mecha, but those MG ones I just LOVE.

Like I said on my first post, the poll is based on the sections of this forum ^^

I just put Not Stated Above for everything else that isn't there.

I like the two polar opposites...romance (what I voted for) and serious, suspenceful works. But if I read/watch too many serious manga/anime, then I start getting depressed so I have to lighten my mood with a good romantic comedy. ^ ^ Example: Kodocha vs. Chrno Crusade

My favorite is Romance both shojo and shonen... there is just something about a well told love story that I find great. Right now I'd say about 80% of my manga is Romance with everything else being kinda a mixture of action and comedy titles.

I picked Supernatural, though I also like Romance because it's simple...when you want to relax, Romance is good, when you want an adrenaline rush, Supernatural it is.

I chose romance (shocker I know!) for the simple reason of shounen-ai. :3
Close to second was supernatural though. Many of my favorite anime belong in that catagory, including Wolfs Rain, Trigun, and FMA.

i voted other, but mecha and Apocalyptic are faves. like them both BTW, but my overall favorite is tactical action/espionage, police procedural stuff. post-apocalyptic dystopias are a reoccuring fave. like mecha a lot, but only when theyre realistic. like most anything by Shirow Masamune. wasnt really sure where that would go in the grander scheme of things

Mecha/Apocalyptic

I think Gundam like war-scenarios attract me to watch. I just can't get enough of Freedom and the battleships. Makes me wonder whether the future world will become like this^^ *a possibility nya* and gives me an area of imagination
