Let me ask you all a question. What's the last good thing you did for someone else? A genuine deed, favor, what have you. An overall act of kindness or care for another. Could be something small, or something major. Doesn't much matter.
And if you can't think of anything, then ask yourself, "Why?"
I often lend a shoulder for comfort and an ear so they can tell me about whatever ails them.
If those don't count I recently took a homeless man to a fast food restaurant and bought him something to eat. Anything he wanted, he looked as though he hadn't eaten in a while.
Then, I gave him $20 dollars and left him at some street corner. I hope he doesn't end up buying booze with my money. -.-

People should always do good things for others, and not even notice that they are.
That's what I believe. Doing "good things" has just become a natural part of my life, so I can't name things off that I did. In fact, I can't name off any good thing I've done, just being myself.
Perhaps that sounds fake, but doesn't to me.
I don't think of the good things I do for people, just do it.
I try to be as considerate and understanding as I can when someone, even if they are not a friend, needs to talk about a problem or needs help with something. I'm also very thoughtful, and love to make/bake/and cook things for people. I enjoy making people happy, too.
I made a post on the internet explaining how someone was wrong, and I didn't even charge them.
Well, the last good deed I did for someone is. Making them a welcome back card. I made it in photoshop for my grandparents, who are visiting Minnesota for a week or so. It took a while, but I realy feel like it is special.
This doesn't sound fake at all, when you do good things it should happen because you want it, because thats the type of person you are, you shouldn't wake up one morning and say "today I'm going to do something good for someone else" you should just do it without thinking about it, I too believe in this -> "People should always do good things for others, and not even notice that they are."Quote:

anyway, i actually helped an old lady across the street the other day. Yes, i am also a boy scout.
I give people things, lend them things, help them with their things. I've done lots, almost enough to overcome my devilish deeds. ...Well, couldn't do better, since I'm neutrally evil.
I'm with hat guy on this. Random acts of jerkdom is what makes the world a better place.
I do random nice stuff for people all the time. Hmmm, that last thing I did I think was giving my boyfriend a Dr Pepper of mine, but that's not really that big of a deal.
Before that, I poured one of my friends a cup of tea without being asked.
Before that, I let a girl print off of my account at school because she wasn't completely registered in the system yet and she only had a few pages to print.
Before that, I gave some guy a quarter to put air in his bike.
I literally gave out free hugs at a locale mall, for the Free Hugs Campaign. It was awesome. I also did a volunteer duty at the Kentucky Motor Speedway, pulling security with my unit.. I didnt get paid, so it counts as doing something good for others.

I don't really catalog every nice thing that I do. I've been told by many people, family, friends, acquaintances, and strangers, etc. that I am at least. I may not seem it at times here on AF, but I am in all truth a 6'5" teddy bear.
I feel that if you can point out one particular instance where you "did something good for someone else" then you probably aren't doing enough.
It should be a normal occurrence to the point where you don't specifically feel like you're doing something good and that it was so kind or charitable of you to do such a thing, it should seem like plain nature. So honestly, I really don't know. I do "nice things" all the time for people. From sparing a couple bucks to giving someone a ride when I see them walking, or donating food for a cause, listen to the problems of and/or give advice to a close friend or even someone I barely know.
When my classmate's brother got hit by a car at my school last schoolyear, he (my classmate) asked for some spare change so he could call his parents. I gave him a few, in case some wouldn't work. I dunno if I could have helped him moar. We rarely get those kind of car accidents.
PS. His brother died.
True, it comes naturally to some people I suppose. I'm part of the cynical, look out for one's self majority, unfortunately. So I make mental notes when I do right by another. For instance, when I hold the door for people, when I pick something up that somebody else has dropped, etc. I count that as: nice thing done.Quote:
