I don't hate subs. I prefer subs (This is person who originally like dubs better). The subs come out before the dubs. The dubs don't match or even sometimes change the story. I still watch dubs when I want a break from the subs or if the show was only dubbed. I only came across two shows that were dubbed only but I don't remember the names of the shows.Quote:

I like subs. They manage to let you peer in on what they're talking about without changing the story.
Depends on the anime for me. Some shows like Space Dandy, Kill la Kill, and Dragon Ball have great dubs that are even arguably better than the sub. But for the most part, dubs tend to stray from the story, have poor vocal direction/casting, or have localization issues that ruin the story.
I like subs for a very simple but good reason. If it wasn't for subs I would have to wait for a dub to watch it.
My Opinion, Subs were crap because my mother goes to leave get cancer to death and anime subs leads source for moral corruption for my mother! As a result, i am a texaco guy!
