Rokuchounen to Ichiya Monogatari [minor transliteration fixes]
Hello,
I noticed there are a few mistakes in the transliteration of the lyrics of Rokuchounen to Ichiya Monogatari ( http://www.animelyrics.com/doujin/vo...ilyr1night.htm ). Most of them are related to Japanese transliteration conventions and once fixed should make the understanding of the Japanese lyrics easier (so as not to get confused between negative forms and nouns + particles)
§1 : Dare mo shiranai -> daremo shiranai
§3 : Nan imo nai kedo -> nanimo nai kedo
§4 : Shiranai shiranai boku wa nani mo shiranai -> ... nanimo shiranai
§5 : Shinanai shinanai boku wa nan de shinanai? -> ... nande shinanai?
Dare mo shiranai -> daremo shiranai
§9 : Shiranai shiranai boku wa nani mo shiranai -> ... nanimo
§10 : Yamenai yamenai kimi wa nan de yamenai? -> ... nande yamenai?
Please let me know why if you disagree with this correction
Re: Rokuchounen to Ichiya Monogatari [minor transliteration fixes]
How to handle spacing is up to individual translators, within reason. Trying to mandate a single consistent transliteration style, including spacing, across the entire site would be difficult, not least because it would involve literally thousands of "fixes" like these and I just do not have that kind of time. Given my experience with the current submission guidelines, also, many contributors would not follow or even read the guidelines for new submissions, and I'd have to fix everyone's submissions before posting them, which I already have to do enough of with people putting kanji outside the kanji field and putting singles in the album field and whatnot. Furthermore, I'm not really concerned about whether the spacing is conducive to correctly understanding the Japanese, as anyone who actually speaks Japanese can look at the kanji lyrics. The romaji exist for the benefit of people who can't read kanji and want to sing along, so I'm mostly concerned with what affects readability in that context.
That said, "nan imo" is definitely wrong, so I've fixed that.
