Considering some things, yeah, that's right. (I know they're a band but never heard their songs...)
No... "Asobi Seksu" literally means "play sex" and refers to casual sex. It is not idiomatically used to mean to eat rice, some rice, or any rice.
I think your friend is either terribly wrong or is trying to mess with you.
"Asobi" means "play" or "for fun" while "Seksu" (its actually "Sekkusu") means "sex". So, it basically means "play sex" or "casual sex". It has nothing to do with eating, rice, or any combination of the two.
And as AzureDark said, its also the name of an indie rock band (but you probably knew that already).:p
