Got of list of everyone that's gotten promoted recently? I'll do it.
No Promotion thread to welcome them as new full-fledged mods?
Did we just have some Probies become full Mods? Kaitou+ and Yoko (Whatever her new name is), for example?
Actually, when I do a search of my own IP address on any of the available IP address search sites or WHOIS lookup sites, I find that it puts me in Kent which is the city that Comcast (my ISP) is in, and even gives an address, but it's the street address of Comcast headquarters, not MY street address. Not sure if this (only making ISP headquarters address available to the public) is standard for all ISPs to prevent illegal tracking and stalking, or if most people doing such a search who have other ISPs would find that it would give them their own location rather than their ISP's location. But at least with Comcast, I know I'm protected.
How so? Do you think terrorists have hacked the ISP's computers, and can get any personal info from the ISP that they want? Please explain.
Well the terrorists don't have the resources needed to get my real name and street address from my IP address. The police even can't do this from just an IP address. They have to go with a search-warrant to the ISP that assigned the IP address, and request the personal info of the person associated with the IP address. Only the ISP company has direct access to the personal info associated with an IP address, and they are only allowed to give that information to law enforcement officers, and only if those officers present a valid warrant. There's no way for terrorists to get that info. I can spam/troll their sites all I want, and they have no way to find me and kill me. Now if on the other hand I went to them in person and insulted them, they'd kill me right then and there.
Face to face insult would get you killed against those guys. I'm online, so nobody knows who I am. I'm anonymous.
Report them to authorities? Would be more fun to troll their sites by spamming anti-terrorist comments on their sites. But it would be more effective if multiple people did this, not just me. So that's why I wanted to get a group of AF members to join me in this effort. Hopefully after being inundated with spam, they will shut their own sites down to avoid flood of spam, and the authorities won't even have to be contacted even. That was my plan. Shut down a line of communications used by terrorists, and have fun while doing it.
These are in fact the sites of the terrorist group Ansar Al Mujahideen, a known affiliate of Al Qaeda, which previously posted links (on their old site) to downloads of the PDF copy of the several issues/volumes of "Inspire Magazine", which is Al Qaeda's propaganda magazine.
You replied "Honestly, what's wrong with you? Not every muslim is a terrorist!" to my blog post. What you may not realize is that [REMOVED] are terrorist sites. They started out as [REMOVED] several years ago and that got shut down about a year ago, so they used an encrypted http (https) version and put it back up at [REMOVED] and then just recently (withing the last couple months) that got shut down. They have since moved to wordpress and twitter (rather than hosting their own website and forums), and added some extra "a"s to their URLs (so now it's ansaaar1 and ansaaaaar1 instead of ansar1), which seems to be an obfuscation technique to try to hide who they are from twitter's and wordpress's censors (which probably recognize and block ansar1 by now) to avoid getting shut down again.
