self-induced is more like fear-induced.

when i was a kid, I had an allergy to milk, which i drank by the gallon, and i didn't know. my reaction was nightmares. nightmares every night until i was 9.
it did this thing to my brain where i'll almost auto wake my self up, like a jolt, if i'm going to sleep.

mines a condition :/

self-induced insomnia

however, i have to go to work too, and my performance can sometimes suffer from lack of sleep.

ah, i see. i usually get up at 4, or earlier. but thats a habit. i'm an insomniac.
