Twiggy Ramirez, Ginger Fish, Madonna Wayne Gacy, Daisy Berkowitz, Sara Lee Lucas, Gidget Gein, Olivia Newton Bundy, Zsa Zsa Speck, and then the other people who'd previously or are currently members of the band: Fred Sablan, Jason Sutter, Chris Vrenna, Tim Skold, John 5, and Zim Zum, maybe not all of them are known and at least one of them is dead, but there are a few at least that I named who are their own artists and wouldn't simply be "hired session musicians" so they could back a solo career.

It's still a mistake because there are some clear differences between the ones you've named and the band Marilyn Manson. For starters, there was only ever one person with each of those artists; Marilyn Manson started out as a band. Second, all of the musicians that back the other artists are just dancers or session musicians; the ones in Marilyn Manson are known musicians themselves. Exactly; the word "band" refers to a group of people and that's just what Marilyn Manson is. If it was a solo band, then why would the additional band members (save for a few) also have names like Manson's?

The reason Manson is the only one to be featured so far is because they're trying to push his image. That doesn't make him a solo artist by any means. Granted, what they are now does border on solo artist thanks to the fact that Manson has become the sole original member of the band and has the rights to say what it is. He's more of a "band leader", which isn't the same as a solo artist. You don't know for certain that he's the only one who makes the big bucks.
