Nice, nice. I always had too much fun on the Contrabass to fiddle with the Bass clarinet. Even more so with it being the 6 foot tall one and not the Eb Contra alto.
I only have the Tenor and a guitar, my parents have the 2 Altos, bass, electric, acoustic-electric, and classical guitars. The School owned both the Contrabass and Bari sax. Luckily I did have to rent it, the school let me borrow it.

You're doing college level, or at least going to be. I suggest moving up to 3 1/2 or 4 on reed size. Though you may want to keep what you're used to for the auditions and stuff until you're comfortable to completely move up without losing any sound/quality.

As far as Guitar goes, not practicing hurts me the most, but with lots of practice the dexterity and durability comes; much like doing high tempo and complex parts on the Bass Clarinet take lots of time and practice. But with reading the chords, are you reading them in note format or tab format? I can try to help, if you'd like.

How was life been to you, Dragon Ball? (xD) I've been uber bored, but I've mostly been reading articles on the Fandom Wank Wiki. Funny internet drama is well, funny to me. The baby's doing really good, so that's a definite plush.

I've also become more of a Morning Musume fan, so I'll probably fangirl over them, lol.

College must've loosened up by now, right? Your really the only pull I have to come over here anymore, LOL. Right now, I'm kinda bored of AF. But never fear, I'll get the AF spark soon again!

I'm even trying to get into C4D type stuff though I'm not very good yet at C4D lol

I have GIMP and I like GIMP but I also have Photoshop Elelments on my laptop and Photoshop CS5 on the family computer... though I can only use it when my dad's at work or else he either A) hogs the computer or B) watches what I'm doing while telling me it's stupid -_- lol but yeah haha I was thinking of uploading some of my better work into an album on my profile :P

So what Clarinet will you be moving to? It'll most likely be up on the skill level, and hopefully not that plastic crap. Glad to hear about possibly getting into the Fresno State Marching Band, and good luck in the auditions. ^.^ Still isn't the Million Dollar Marching Band from the University of Alabama, but I'm biased. ;P

As for me, I played the Alto Sax for Marching Band and most of my Concert Band career. I also played the E-flat Contrabass Clarinet (the 6ft tall one) for 2 and a half concert seasons (2 seasons all through out and 1 for just District and All-State honours so it's only half), and the Baritone Sax for the other half of my senior year. Now I'm just tooting away on a nice cheap Tenor Sax, the I have my Altos with me as well.
