Trolling used to be nice back in the day but hey, as long as people get butthurt (which is common here) then successful troll is successful regardless of being a bad troll or not.

Here the thing, you know what's bigger than multiplats? Casuals. As long as you get their attention then you will sell a lot more, period. I think you even said this in a different argument or I may be wrong. Take a look a the link again and see how many casual based exclusive games are dominating. (Wii Play, Kinect Adventures etc.) The Last of Us is not a casual game though but like I said, casuals know about the game so...And by casuals I dont mean soccer moms btw, although obviously thats included but I mean light gamers that gaming isn't their top entertainment.

I think the argument was more about sales rather than the game being good, btw...the game being good or not was just a secondary thing. (eg call of duty is shit but sells well)

Going back to the quoted statement.

You kinda always do this, you say something but support it with an argument that opposes your argument. You said that multiplats sell well but then you said exclusives sell well?

So either I am misunderstanding or you don goofed in some way.

Question, if it was Halo 5 instead of the Last of Us, would we be having this argument right now? Personally, I don't like Halo (so that's one point why we wouldn't be discussing this now) but regardless I do think Halo can outsell a lot of things, even if its released on every platform possible.

Btw, Remember Me didn't have the same hype as The Last of Us, man.. The Last of Us has even casuals and their parents wetting their pants as opposed to Remember Me when I can ask any casual and they'll have no idea what is it as opposed to the Last of US because Sony shoved that all over the place. I said that like 1000 million times but you never cared to counter argue that. Call of Duty sells well primarily cause it got the attention of casuals, and The Last of Us did as well (not as much as COD but it did) .

I don't mean to sound like an asshole either but I am just presenting facts and links (like the VGChartz).

And about Deadpool, see that's what I mean though....Multiplat doesn't always mean it will outsell an exclusive. You were so hung into that, it wasn't your main support but you were using it a lot.

I'm not arguing with your argument about Multiplats >> because that's right, I was arguing that you chose to use it to support Remember Me. If they make a Multiplat Pokemon game, that will sell like pancakes...of course but Remember Me? You obviously make a good point if it was Call of Duty too, but you do know that game can go exclusive and outsell most games too. Your point wasn't wrong you chose to make it the support of the wrong game...even if it was potentially speaking because the game was just so underground and only those who are really, really into gaming knew about it and not even mid-level hardcore gamers and not even some hardcore gamers.

The butthurt thing wasn't a shot, rather a clarification from the other thread when I was referring to another member, not you. but you took it as if I was talking about you.

I am not ignoring anything though....you were just wrong, because even as a multiplats it sold poorly and it's not the first multiplat that sold poorly compared to exclusives. I don't need to feel like a smug, tbh and your back ups were weak though. But whatever, you're right it's just an old discussion anyway. Still funny nonetheless.

Obviously the problem was is that you just wanted to argue with me without actually supporting Remember Me (you hate Capcom yet you chose to support it), unlike me that I really liked The Last of Us (I love Naughty Dog ever since Crash) but whatever, discussion is buried where it should be, just thought it would be funny to bring it up once more.

Note: Btw, Deadpool also was released in June but that didn't outsell The Last of Us either, even as a multiplat. See ya around.

Thing is, you picked the wrong game without doing some research.

If you wanted to do that, fine by me but it just completely backfire to you because Remember Me is now Forgotten me and it only sold 0.33M worldwide. Not to mention that the game wasn't even advertised properly either so that's why I was telling you why you were wrong (it was also a new IP by a new developer so..) That's what I kinda mean by research.

You said I was hyping it up too much but you go my assumptions or reach things that aren't there (like Goku training for 15 more years or so) too much too. If you actually followed the Last of Us, the hyped wasn't empty and it definitely lived up to most of the hype as well. (Not all though)

Going back to the butthurt thing, when I said it a couple of times, I was never referring to you btw. As much as your opinions may be wrong in occasions, I know you don't have no issues getting into an argument.
