Well the Townies are really inconsequential. The number will rise or fall depending on the number of people that join. They are not important, honestly. As long as you know the number of power roles, you're good. Townies and Wolves work themselves out once registration is finished. But the way you have it set up seems really good.

Zabuza would be a perfect assassin, but the only problem is that he's a bad guy. Kakashi would make a good assassin. Seeing as pre-time skip, his chakra reserves rendered him unable to use Lightning Blade more than once or twice a day (fitting in with the fact that an assassin can only kill once a night).

As for townies, I forgot the secret formula. I thought it was 15-20% Wolves, the rest townies (obviously with role characters, followed by non-role characters rounding out the playing field). Actually, I'm about 90% sure that is the secret formula. 15% is the low side, useful if you don't have a lot of powerful townies. 20% is really high, and should only be used if you're gonna have a lot of town power roles.

Masons, it's really up to you and the amount of people that sign up. Personally, I like the idea of four just for the sake of being even (and giving the masons a tad more power, I guess).

Definitely, that's an option. You could use stock Anbu pictures, if that's what you wanted to do.

Hmm, that's gonna be tough, because most of the Anbu members are either not named or work for Root. I can only think of three current (because Itachi and Kakashi are no longer members of Anbu and Baku, Tori, and Ushi haven't been seen since the days of the second Hokage) Anbu members that have been named and are not members of Root as well: Ibiki, Yugao, and Yamato. You would probably have a better time making the masons Root, as they have five members who have been named and of which pictures (albeit some are from the manga, not the anime) exist: Sai, Danzo, Torune, Fu and Hyo. Of course the drawback to using that group is that none of those people were introduced until Shippuden (then again, neither was Yamato, taking your Root group down to two). But if you want to stretch your storyline a tad, you can add young Kakashi to Anbu to even out that squad.

Not really, it's the only one I use. You could just google pictures of the characters, and names shouldn't be hard to find (I'm a walking Naruto encyclopedia!). I could help you if you need some characters.

Oh right, sorry, probably shouldn't spoil anything else for you. But A is the Raikage. Check out his abilities on like Narutopedia or something; the dude is absolutely sick. Yeah, I've been playing the demo to death since it came out. Looking forward to using two (!) different versions of the tragically misunderstood Sasuke, each with separate movesets and specials.

Actually it already came out. I just have to wait a couple of days because I, like you, am broke (well, I only have 30 of the required 60 dollars). I've been on YouTube drooling over video of the game since the day it came out (the 19th I think). It covers most of shippuden, all the way past Naruto's fight with Pain. Hopefully they'll make a 3 which will use all the kages (seriously, how is A not in this game?!) and let Madara ditch the Tobi shtick as he has done in the manga (and the anime as well I think).

Wow, I really ought to never disappear ever again. Inactivity is definitely a problem though. I've been on a few boards where they even ban you from further Wolf games for two or three inactive kills. It can really derail even the best made games. I of course am thrilled at a Naruto themed one, though. I don't care that you're leaving out Shippuden, Naruto is Naruto. Speaking of which, I can't wait to get Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 in a couple of days... Err, off topic, anyway I'm really glad to see that Wolf still lives.

Darn! That's the only thing in the world I'm even qualified to answer. I assume by goons you mean the Sound Four and Kimimaro? Solid picks if so. But yeah, I'm game. Sev told me the last two games haven't been finished, which is a shame.
